I might do a step-by-step for this, but it's pretty easy.

Make sure you have a white (or other plain background) image handy. You can make one in PicMonkey if you don't by taking one of the sample photos and putting a big white rectangle (from the overlays tool) over it and saving it.

Now, open your photo, go to Textures, choose "Upload your own" and add your white background image. Set blend mode to "normal" but keep the fade at about 30% so you can see through it. Then use the paintbrush to 'erase' the white from the subject (ie., paint in the 'original'). You can put the fade to 0% every once in a while to check how it looks. When you're happy, save it.

Who needs a light tent? :)

slider sunday: (possibility) picmonkey has a couple of new features and one of them is called mirror, so i decided to see what this peace sign would look like mirrored side to side and then top to bottom based on symmetry-- kinda cool, huh? gee, i sound like a commercial. ..... hmm, maybe i could have done top to bottom, then side to side on the same one-- wait, wait, i think i might be getting too carried away ~grin~

and the autobot tagger has decided that this is a wheel and a rim ~grin~

What could be more scarier than an office chair mixed with a cranky executive? Ask any of Bossee's employees, and they'd have no answer. This micro-managing boss with a fiery temper is very dedicated to his work, though - you'd be too if you had a computer desk for an arm!

These mixed viola have given me pleasure for a couple of months, and are not finished yet!

Hellebore: sings

You spotted snakes with double tongue,

 Thorny hedgehogs, be not seen.

Newts and blindworms, do no wrong.

Come not near our fairy queen.

Oleander: whispers

She drank the tea?

Hellebore: whispers

Yessss! Thank the Gods we won't have to sing to her all night. And I even added some honey so she would be sure to drink it all.

Oleander and Hellebore: singing in unison

 Philomel, with melody

 Sing in our sweet lullaby.

Lulla, lulla, lullaby, lulla, lulla, lullaby.

 Never harm

 Nor spell nor charm

 Come our lovely lady nigh.

 So good night, with lullaby.

Oleander: whispers

The honey in the windowsill?

Hellebore: whispers

Yesssss!

Oleander: whispers

Shit you don't even want to know what was in that honey!

Oleander and Hellebore: singing in unison

 Weaving spiders, come not here.

 Hence, you long-legged spinners, hence!

 Beetles black, approach not near.

Worm nor snail, do no offense.

Hellebore: whispers

You could have labeled it you know!!!!

Oleander and Hellebore singing in unison

 Philomel, with melody

 Sing in our sweet lullaby.

Lulla, lulla, lullaby, lulla, lulla, lullaby.

 Never harm

 Nor spell nor charm

 Come our lovely lady nigh.

 So good night, with lullaby.

Here comes Oberon - if anything weird happens tonight blame it on Love-in-Idleness and Puck

... at least the decorations in MK seem to fore-tell everything will be white!

... kindly settled on my washing line just outside my office window!

White is snow falling on the ground.

It's clouds in the blue sky.

And foam that splashed on ocean shores.

It's the splendor of flowers blooming.

It's the richness of pearls.

It's the robe of the angels.

It's the pale morning sky.

It's the majesty of a wild stallion.

Yet the beauty of a young mare.

It's a crisp winter's chill.

It's as sweet as vanilla.

White is purity and radiance.

It's clarity and peace.

It cannot be angered.

It's the mystery of the moon.

It has the youth of a newborn foal.

Yet it is ageless.

It's the softness of a pillow.

And as smooth as silk.

It has the brilliance of lightning.

It's as enduring as true love.

It cannot be easily overpowered.

It's the light that shines from the heavens.

It is never negative.

It's encouraging and will stand by you.

White is both power and love.
