A spare RoT photo for CC week 2 ...:)

AXTEL is writing a story this morning-the first paragraph is always the hardest - hmmm

Taken a few days ago, when the sun was shining and warm.

Today is cold and grey, and we are promised snow!!

we will celebrate tomorrow my birthday and the cat's too...T2 the grey, Thomas the siamese and Il Piccolino the tabby have not a sure date of Birth, we think it could be early May....T2 is 6, Thomas 2 and Il pIccolino 1....thanks Kerri for the suggestion to use picmonkey. T2 is inside on the red couch, the others on the balcony with books and flowers (Thomas loves to eat flowers)

One of the feral kitties that have taken up residence probably because the buffet is open 24/7-365.I named this "pretty".

Flooded property from a rapid snow melt long Lake Ontario.

I apologise for yet another bee shot - but they are being most obliging at the moment:)

The warmth of the sky belied the temperature, which was dropping below freezing as I took it!

A mature stag showing off his superb antlers, before he has to use them in the rut:-)

This week we are to look at the creative effects found in our camera.

I had to take a dozen or so photos before I captured one with a star on the fuchsia. I realised the star is produced on the brightest part of the image.

SOOC - only editing is a crop.

The blossoms on the trees were so pretty this spring. I took lots of pictures, which is a good thing because the flowers have now been replaced by bright green leaves.

As before, I've posted three pictures in this series and have disabled the other two pictures.
