I spotted this Toyota Tacoma pickup truck the other day. I'm not usually a truck fan, or a Toyota fan, or a Toyota truck fan, but this one caught my eye to the point where I snapped a photo.
At his farm in New Braintree, MA. Circa late 50's or 60's. Norm kept his vehicles in decent shape through the years. This truck got sold went he retired in the late 1960's.
At the Steel In Motion nostalgia drag races and car/bike/minibike show at the Union County Dragway in Union, South Carolina on May 17, 2014.

Trucks are big business representing high returns and stakes for the auto brands that build them. Now in its third generation, Toyota has finally re-engineered the Tundra full-size pickup with competitive features that we have come to expect symptomatically from the Americans. But is it enough to garner market share from the Big 3? Well, Toyota invited Automotive Rhythms / Fit Fathers to Texas for technical briefings with their Tundra designers and engineers to find out. Yes, they are ready starting with power that emanates from a twin-turbo V6 generating 389-hp and 479 lb.-ft. of torque or Toyota’s powerful i-FORCE MAX hybrid twin-turbo V6 delivering 437-hp and 583 lb.-ft. of torque from 2,400 rpm. Both pair with a new 10-speed automatic transmission with intelligence (ECTi). Ready to rumble? I am!
This truck was customized to show AMC brass the Pacer could be used for a variety of purposes including a utility vehicle. From the internet.
1938 Chevy Pickup during ARC Car Show at Old Cowtown Museum. The car show was a fundraiser for the ARC of Sedgwick County.
The Arc of Sedgwick County began in 1953 when parents concerned about services and future opportunities for their children formed The Wichita Association for Retarded Children. This was the first organization in this country to promote the general welfare of all persons with mental retardation, to foster the development of programs on their behalf and to increase the public’s awareness and acceptance.
