Shot on film with an old Mamiya 1000DTL on expired Ektar 100 film. The camera was given to me from a friend at a recent meeting of the Ann Arbor Area Crappy Camera Club. There was a grab bag of cameras for members to choose, sight unseen. I sat near a sharp curve in the railroad tracks about 1000 feet away from this scene for nearly an hour. No trains, no luck. As I crossed the tracks I spotted the truck, for sale sign behind the windshield and decided to stop for a photo. As soon as i stepped out of the car I heard the train horn. A few seconds later I had my shot.
This set built up. Nice set of the camper series.

Clearly, trucks are my forte among minifig scale automobiles. This one started life with the intention of just extrapolating my farm truck. I wanted to try a different hood, though. Ultimately, this forced the inner structure in some different directions, so other than the wheelbase and front grill, it was mostly re-engineered.
One of the other AFOLOKCers mentioned that the bed should be a stud shorter. after looking at it a bit longer, I agree. It might be largely because of the thickness of the bricks, but the bed looks too narrow to me.

Normally I don't post ebay pickups but these were neat enough and I was excited to get them. Prices were pretty good too from the seller considering how obscure anime LDs are.
Phantom Quest Corps Volumes 1 & 2
U-Jin Brand :O
Rupan (Lupin) III Movies
-The Fuma Conspiracy
-Legend of the Gold of Babylon
Plus two "anime cels" from BubbleGum Crisis. They are numbered, limited edition prints called Chroma Cels by Ani-Magine. Supposedly these are high-quality reproductions of original animation cels created with an exclusive printing technology. They look neat enough at least for what I paid.
