I am not sure what to make of this vehicle. Jeep is very popular right now as a brand, but this vehicle is not really any more functional than a traditional pickup truck. It won't be cheap. The wheelbase probably does not help its off road capability.
Having seen them on the roads around Metro Detroit, the bed is very narrow. While it looks good in orange, it didn't look too great in black. It's an interesting idea and vehicle, though.
A friend liked my other picture of the pickup so much he gave me a bus as well and wanted me to take some more pictures for him to print and hang in his sons room.
Not happy with the black roof of the bus disappearing into the black backdrop, but i think it's a decent picture anyway.

Pickup trucks. The Dinky Chevrolet is one of a series of re-branded Kidco toys made in Hong Kong by Universal Products in the early 1980s, the silver truck appears to have been copied from that, also made in Hong Kong. The Hot Wheels '78 Dodge is unconnected, apart from being a similar size.

Is it the street that kills them, or do they come here to die? Third (that I know of) abandoned pickup on our block this year.

This Fargo A100 pickup truck was up for auction. It would be a rare one being a Fargo as well as the pickup variant on the A100.
Gecophone Pickup, Amplifier and Horn Loudspeaker. This was one of the earliest electrical amplification systems to be offered to the public. The pickup could be attached to the tone arm of an acoustical Gramophone in place of the sound box. Wires passed the signal to the amplifier which was battery powered and then to the horn speaker. The amp and speaker were also used with early radios and used the signal that powered the carbon headphones.

Shot on film with an old Mamiya 1000DTL on expired Ektar 100 film. The camera was given to me from a friend at a recent meeting of the Ann Arbor Area Crappy Camera Club. There was a grab bag of cameras for members to choose, sight unseen. I sat near a sharp curve in the railroad tracks about 1000 feet away from this scene for nearly an hour. No trains, no luck. As I crossed the tracks I spotted the truck, for sale sign behind the windshield and decided to stop for a photo. As soon as i stepped out of the car I heard the train horn. A few seconds later I had my shot.
This set built up. Nice set of the camper series.
