After my Peterbilt, another car what I wanted to build was Pick Up.
it was easy to choose a color, because many black bricks left.
First I wanted do black and green with a lot green chrome bricks, but then decided change the colour for red.
I used wheels from The Boss 41999, I like those white lines and they perfectly fit with the car.

An unexpected capture at an outdoor market in Chicago. Discovered this hours later as I was cycling through the day's shots.

I picked the prunes. We have a drier. I picked about two bucket loads this year from our one tree.
I did this ink sketch from a reference photo I took on the ladder. The back lighting caught my eye. I really enjoy working with these colored inks using a small brush and my Hero 330 pen filled with Indigo ink. Green and purple, always a nice combination.
Fabriano Hot Press Watercolor paper, Derwent #2 round waterbrush, Ostrich colored inks, and Hero 330 Fude nib fountain pen with Diamine Indigo ink. Image is 6.5X7 inches (17X18 cm).
On both sides of Great King Street in the lower part of the New Town there are rather charming and splendid sets of triple doors like these, which a lot of visitors like to photograph (hard to resist, isn't it?). Wish I could step further back for this but then the parked cars I was crouched between would be in the shot.
If you look at the large version, pay attention to the centre door(No 84) and you'll see incised into the stone on the right of the door a memorial to the Polish musician and composer Felix Yaniewicz. who as a very young musician travelled to Vienna to hear Haydn and Mozart. He was one of the original members of the London Philharmonic and later settled in Edinburgh, living in this Georgian town house until his death in 1848 and is buried in the city.
He is also credited as being a co-founder of the first Edinburgh Festival - now the main festival didn't start until 1947 (later joined by the Fringe, the Film Festival, Book Festival, jazz festival and more - this is festival city!), but in the history of the Festival some early music and arts festivals from the early 1800s are credited as the ancestors of today's enormous festival scene in Edinburgh (the largest arts festivals on the planet)
