This bright little flower happily stood by the side of the road this morning. :)
Today I had hubby's truck at the mechanics. Nothing major, thankfully. I really like this dealership that we deal with. They sure treat their customers well. They greet me by my first name when I arrive. Well, they should know my name by now, it's my third time there this week....lol...all kidding aside, they are always pleasant and fair, in my opinion and I am happy with the service they provide. I chatted with my sales guy again today about trading in my 6 yr old SUV for something a bit newer. Not brand new 2019, off the lot this time, but a 2017-2018 model. He will find me one that I am interested in. I am curious as to how long this will take. Time will tell...if it is longer than I would like, well, suck it up, buttercup! Right? lol

Day 45. It was Valentine’s day today. In my country, we don’t really have the celebration (we have a homologous celebration by the end of september), but an increasingly interconnected world makes you mor suceptible to noticing the date and, perhaps, do something special. In a romantic-but-low-profie fashion, I decided to take a photo of my girlfriend’s eyes. I’ve always loved them. They are really, really beautiful, so I wanted to keep a memory of them, especially since she hasn’t been featured in the 365 so far. So I met up with her around midday, we had some coffe and cookies, and I took her photo. It was a fun, quick escapade from the usual university work :)
I quite like this puddleshot I took...fyi the white smudy circles are clouds, otherwise I would have removed them!
