Williamstown Time Ball Tower at Point Gellibrand. This was originally built in 1852 as a lighthouse, but then converted to a time ball for the adjacent Williamstown Observatory in 1861.
Day 61 of 365, Daffodils... Looks like spring really is on the way, a few of these are starting to come out around Milton Country Park
Day 334/365 - dayplanner. Ummm . . . I'm retired these days. No dayplanner dictating to me when I can or can't. So, here is a wheel on my chaise lounge.
The flaws in us
The dying tips of this leaf bend towards each other, nearly touching. They're less than perfect, unlike their stunning peers in the background. But isn't it selfless of them to do so? To become a colourful backdrop, to highlight the intrigue of the flawed leaf.
Don't we usually want to hide our flaws? Who would put them in the spotlight!? But it is so often our flaws that make us who we are. Share them. Celebrate them.
