Day 40 of 365, Swan... Wasn't sure which photo to use from today, the light was fantastic and made such a difference to the photos today. In the end it had to be a swan with the shimmering lake in the background, and when I turned it to B&W it just sold it to me...
What else can I say about this pic?

Day 41 of 365, Chaffinch... Today was a day playing with the 2 x III added to the 70 - 200mm on a 7D. Have a bit of learning to do with the setup, but managed to get this fella. Also saw a Great Spotted Woodpecker, but the photos aren't good enough to make the photo of the day this time...
Day 280/365 - pumpkin. My next Zentangle project. I just need to find the right pen to use on this pumpkin.

Day 341/365 - wrapping paper. Some may call me a hoarder, but I just like options. This is just Christmas wrapping paper. I have about as many Birthday wrapping paper rolls too.
Pop figurines at a local market. Interesting that Kiss is still as popular today as they were when I was a child!
It's been a busy weekend of renovations ... so this was all I had time for ... Western Ring Road and Deer Park By Pass bridges.
Liam, Dan and I are back on top of Mt. Diablo, viewing from the exact spot Dan photographed us two years ago. I miss you buddy and will carry these memories wherever I go. (weekly theme: "Liam" | in memoriam)

Ooooh burn at that comment...so maybe I haven't really got a macro setting! This made it kinda hard to get a macro picture...it wasn't very sunny and I wasn't using a tripod, so this was as close up as possible! Sozzles! :P
Remember this rabbit, hidden in the garden? We bought it with our pocket money at some random garden centre on the way to Wales to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Lol.
