Driving to a CD release party. Well, G was driving, I was riding. :) I like this because it looks like a dance party to me!
There's often something special served for summertime brunch at my place. This is a sampling of the scrumptious close-up selection of S words seconds before consumption: surface (pancakes), special w/ splash of syrup, sliced & sugar sprinkled strawberries, and scrambled (eggs). Not featured here: sausage (just not pretty up close). :))
I had no idea what to do for this shot. Then when we got home last night, I walked in to these beautiful tulips in a glass vase that are just absolutely gorgeous. I love tulips. I do believe they are my favorite. They made me smile. :)
I'm tired...again. And again I just don't feel like I can catch up on my sleep and the result is a cranky me. Back is bothering me too...I go for another massage next week. I can't wait.
I'm sorry I've been absent from your pages. I need to catch up and as soon as I am able to I will, I promise. I miss your photos already!!
P.S. only 2 more days to go....looking forward to this being done, even though it's been fun! A short break might be in store for me after this.
Day 1 of our trip showed us how roads are the arteries of exploration, driving along Hwy 58 before it drops into the California Valley, north of the Carrizo Plain Nat'l Monument, CA. (weekly theme: "Recess" | roaming free)

Bright orange laces: seen for miles! Bedrock Park, Oroville, CA. (weekly theme: "Wicked Flip" | rotated pics).
Leica M3 I inherited with a 50mm f2 hektor, 90mm f4, and the 135mm f4.5 as well as a Leica polarization filter and lens hood. With a Leica camera case and Leica leather messenger. It's my first forray into shooting film right now and it seems like a ton of fun so far however, I haven't had a chance to develop the film or try anything else than the Fuji Superia Xtra 400 film my local Walmart had. I'm planning to shoot some Portra 400 or 800 at -2 or -3 stops soon.
"Finally found myself; fighting for a chance. I know now, this is who I really am." - 30 Seconds to Mars. For those curious, this was taken as a single image (no manipulation). I had 30 seconds to walk around and create my alter ego self-portrait atop the Oroville Dam. (weekly series: "Motion Blur" | it's magic).

Staring into the giant, blue expanse. Kapaa Beach Park in Kauai, HI. (weekly theme: "Through the Lens" | playing "I Spy")

FMS photo a day 2013 February day 9 - my guilty pleasure - Lindor truffles (or chocolate in general!)
Day 20/365 - something ridiculous. Just MHO, but I think when the sag exposes more than the waistband of your drawers you've gone into dumb mode, but when more of your underwear is exposed than covered, well, that is ridiculous! I actually think a lot of stuff is ridiculous, like some stuff seen on the red carpet and bathroom selfies (especially in public bathrooms), but I going with the sad sag for today's POD.
