So I just got the Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art and I'm blown away! Phil came out to be the first shoot done on this lens, new favorite.
I came up with the idea of a 'Saturday with...' themed engagement session with Phil and Sara. I am so fortunate that they went with the idea!
We first went to the farmers market, headed to the Starbucks where they usually hang out, and then the park where they like to throw frisbee.
It was so much fun! Thanks, Phil and Sara!

Another gorgeous day it was for a 'bridge run'! I was eagerly training for a half-marathon in Sept. but missed the online sign-up date! =( Hopefully, I can stay motivated and injury-free for another one in Nov.

Made from 2 inch foam, cut to 18x24 and shaped using a jigsaw. The foam was sprayed lightly with black spray paint to give the granite appearance. Etching was done by pen knife and dremel tool.

These early hubs with chrome plated steel centers came packaged in stapled-shut brown paper bags that were hand stamped with the Phil Wood logo and the number 36. These were the first production sealed bearing hubs. Earlier hubs, as early as the 40s had used caged bearings but Phil Wood was the first to use actual sealed cartridge bearings.
