All I Ask of You by Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson
Fairies Living (Self-owned pose used)
A man alone in misery sits
His dreams have all been smashed to bits
Abandoned by the one he loves
His heart as fragile as a doves
Alone he sits inside the waste
Of mirrors smashed to hide his face.....

(K&S)-My fantasy~ Poseball 2
A couple of months ago, while driving down a road near my house, I came upon a flock of turkey vultures. Several of them were sitting at the tops of trees along side the road while others floated high above them. I thought some dead critter must have brought them there, but I didn't spot anything. Turkey vultures aren't especially good looking, but I find their huge wing span and ability to glide gracefully through the air on thermals impressive.
Looking at a turkey vulture's face close up reminded me of the character in the title.
Just stopping by to say hey! This is one of the photos that I took for my photography class... We are working with dof... I was pretty pleased with this one!!

No more talk of darkness,
Forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
My words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom,
Let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
To guard you and to guide you.
Say you love me every waking moment,
Turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always;
Promise me that all you say is true,
That's all I ask of you.

Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams
Purge your thoughts of the life you knew before
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar
And you'll live as you've never lived before

Decisions, decisions. Instead of endless hesitation, best to follow the Phantom's shouted command to Christine:
- - 'MAKE YOUR CHOICE ! !"
(quote from "The Phantom of the Opera"
Then again there's a philosopher's take on this business:
"“ If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.”
- - René Descartes
Last but not least John Stewart's POV:
"Did you ever turn the corner
And you wondered why you did
'Cause you haven't been that way, now
Since you were just a kid
And nothing really happened
But then you've got to say
That you wonder what would've happened
Had you gone the other way....."
- - "Strange Rivers" lyrics
HB-IZK : Saab 2000 : Crossair
Crossair were the "Official Carrier" for the stage musical "The Phantom of the Opera" and painted this Saab in this special livery. The port side had a slightly different version, without the white front fuselage.
What the “Phantom of the Opera” did not realize was, for about an hour in early January, he was being watched by the "Photographer above the Opera”!

When being challenged about not wearing a mask on public transport and you don’t have one with you, ‘IMPROVISE!'.
I found Operetta's new casual outfit the other day at Target! It's a nice outfit and it I think she looks quite lovely ^^
High above the foyer of Her Majesty's Theatre, Herbert Beerbohm Tree (actor - manager) had a suite and an "Acting Academy", where it is known that he held parties. The second room appears to be behind a proscenium arch, so it is not inconceivable that private theatrical entertainments were given here. It is now a rehearsal room for the theatre. Built as a replacement to earlier theatres on this site since 1705, the current theatre was designed by C J Phipps and opened in April 1897. It seats around 1,200 currently, slightly down on the 1,319 quoted in 1897. The building is grade 2* listed and in 1986 the record-breaking run of "The Phantom of the Opera" began. The name reverted to His Majesty's after the coronation of King Charles III in 2023, and it is part of LW Theatres Group.

Welcome to my new adventure to close out the year! I'm taking every theme from the figbarf page on Instagram and posting at least one figure per theme, since I feel bad for not keeping up the whole year and I like a challenge lol. As a way to guide myself, I also picked a theme from each group that would be the overarching theme, with this overall theme being Classic Monsters. Hope y'all enjoy these!
Left to right:
#figbarf41 - Noir: The Invisible Man (1933)
#figbarf42 - The 2000s: Hellboy (shoutout to theoctopirate_customs for inspiration on this)
#figbarf43 - Classic Monsters: Freddy Krueger
#figbarf44 - Halloween: Candyman
#figbarf45 - Bands, Musicians, & Performers: The Phantom of the Opera

A piece of theatre history - the Thunder Run, superseded by recorded sound effects many decades ago. To replicate thunder a cannon ball would be dropped into the wooden channel which rolled rapidly down (here right to left) would drop down (extreme left) and then roll more gently back along the lower box. This one survives complete above the stage at Her Majesty's Theatre in the Haymarket, London. Designed by C J Phipps and Romaine Walker in a French C18th style. This is one of the West End's finest theatres, wide with excellent sightlines and supremely elegant. Built as a replacement to earlier theatres on this site since 1705, the current theatre was designed by C J Phipps and opened in April 1897. The building is grade 2* listed and in 1986 the record-breaking run of "The Phantom of the Opera" began. The name reverted to His Majesty's after the coronation of King Charles III in 2023, and it is part of LW Theatres Group.
