Domenica 11 novembre, nell’ambito della terza edizione di JAZZMI, il grande festival diffuso in tutta Milano dedicato al mondo del Jazz, sul palco dell’Alcatraz di Milano arriva in concerto Maceo Parker.
Portavoce della Funk Music in tutto il mondo, Maceo Parker si esibito al fianco dei Maestri del genere, a patire da James Brown, il funkman per eccellenza. Il cantante e sassofonista ha rovistato dentro tutti gli ambienti del funk e della disco music costruendo il suo originalissimo stile, sempre in equilibrio tra l’anima nera degli anni Sessanta e l’allegria dei Settanta. Il suo curriculum vanta collaborazioni con artisti del calibro di Ray Charles, Ani Difranco, James Taylor, De La Soul, Dave Matthews Band e Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

The incredibly talented Lili Haydn has frequently toured with George Clinton & P-Funk. I hadn't expected her this night, so she was a pleasant surprise.
Not every photo comes out like you'd hoped. Sometimes the light isn't quite right, or it's not as sharp as you'd like. But sometimes those imperfect shots still capture the moment.
