A portrait of Archie after climbing out from under the covers. I just loved the way he was lying and gazing off into the distance. Captured using natural light only, thanks to a large mirrored built-in wardrobe providing some reflected lighting. Enjoy!

Happy ScATsURDAY! Too pooped to do much more!

One of my favorite poses of hers ... little stiff legs! Cutie patootie #4 of 11 ... and the tee-tiniest of them all.

Essa coisinha fofa , é uma danadinha!!!

Tenho que tomar o maior cuidado com ela no quintal. Corre para os vasos e adora morder as folhas das plantas.

Minhas orquídeas estão florindo mastigadinhas...

349/365: I bought this Christmas backdrop for a photoshoot with my grandson...can't post any of those yet as his mum and dad want to use them for Christmas presents and cards. However I thought I may as well get another use from it and take a Christmas portrait of Bruno modelling his Santa hat. I'd like to say he was an obliging model but, as the saying goes...never work with children and animals! Any guesses which direction the biscuits are?

Archie perched on his small climbing/scratching house and framed beautifully by the window with a rare bit of blue sky! I loved his regal posture here, like Simba learning that he will rule all that he surveys. His eyes are starting to turn more green than blue now which is a shame but if they go bright green I won't complain. He is at that awkward 'play with everything and bite it' stage. He needs a LOT of stimulation to keep him from eating limbs just now but I am sure he will calm down. Enjoy!

So this morning we thought we'd take the dogs up the Dyfi forest for a run. After a while Spuddy decided he was hot, bothered and thirsty, his answer?, this lovely puddle should do the trick, now for the shower...

You think he is posing so nicely, huh? Nope. He was chasing a lizard up this tree and I snapped quickly with my phone. Enjoy the holidays...they go by quickly. Hope Santa is good to everyone's pets.

Miss Teddie Smith and The Smith Clan of 11 wishing you and yours a blessed Wednesday!

September 7, 2022: I don't have a HWW shot for today, so I went back in my HWW album and brought up the very first HWW shot I did! Happy Window Wednesday, Peeps.

Decided to take my Canon EOS 5D MkIII on a walk...not the greatest...possibly atmospheric...who knows...Hey, at least the pics are fresh :). I snapped this shot of my best bud, Hobbes by the pond's edge. I liked how the Sunlight illuminated him.

Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland, captured in December 2024.

Mimi was being walked through the city on a leash. An adorably beautiful, and doubtlessly very expensive, ragdoll with those stunning blue eyes. Given the feline nature for curiosity it was impossible, on the city street, to get Mimi to look at my lens. I loved this shot though and thank Mimi's keeper for sparing a few moments of her time.

I'd love to have a ragdoll, I really would but... they are properly pricey. At least I got to pet one, briefly, at least once. Soooo fluffy!

Enjoy.

Archie

This is Archie, our neighbours' diminutive Teacup Yorkie. He is a recent adoption. Archie is 10 years old, has very few teeth but has already declared his garden a bird-free zone!

Happy Cats Day! # 9 of 11 cats! She's a TNR who I ended up bringing in the house after her brother, Tigger, got killed.

While waiting for his mum to come home, he kept a keen eye on the front door.

Let me introduce to you my new family member Chusa. Six years old.

A Spanish lady from the shelter of La Nucia. A mixed breed. In any case, she has blood from a hunting dog (Brak). Possibly a Basset Bleu de Cascogne, although her ears don't look like one, her body certainly does.

She came to the Netherlands by plane last month to increase her adoption chances. Last Friday I picked her up in Terneuzen. She is a real sweetheart.
