First day up in Pennsylvania! Walked around this really cute little town and tours of the college were the next day. Oh, the Bed & Breakfast my mom and I stayed in was a really old house and our room was called "The Rose Room" - walls and ceiling covered in rosy wallpaper!

the second time entering lower antelope canyon, I began to find something else special. An over exposure makes this red rock look like a petal..:-D
Can anyone help me: is this Gladiolus communis (cornflag)? This gorgeous flower deserves a proper ID!

Last weekend I went out to listen to a quartet -- they played mainly Cole Porter's, Irving Berlin's, Jerome Kern's, George Gershwin's, Rodgers and Hammerstein's songs. The singer, with feathers in her hair, wore a simple but beautiful black dress to accentuate her ivory, almost translucent, skin under the stage lights. For her equally translucent voice, she wore the very kissable colour of these petals on her lips...
Well, guess who received a coup de foudre ... for the umpteenth time?!

Petal Pink is a darker, rose-colored pink. It is very close to our other eye powder Magenta but just a little lighter.
