Before disposing of some tired old tulips, I plucked the petals (or picked them off of the table where many had fallen) and arranged them in this fan shape with backlight provided by a light tablet.
The petal of a Rose, dropped off and was caught on the leaf.
Now I love images that are different, and this here truly captured my imagination!
Beyond the obvious! Love it!
THANK you for ALL your comments and visits, so appreciated.
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)

Wisteria petals gather in a small creek in the Southeast USA. Wisteria frutescens, commonly known as American wisteria, is a woody, deciduous, perennial climbing vine, one of various wisterias of the family Fabaceae. It is native to the wet forests and stream banks of the southeastern United States, with a range stretching from the states of Virginia to Texas and extending southeast through Florida.

This is a flower petal that I placed on a mirror to photograph some time back.
Lighting: Lit with a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box hand held at camera left. Fill light came from a hand held mirror at camera right. The flash and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.
Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1600 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/

This little bug, perfectly at home on the delicate petals of a vibrant pink flower, reminds me of the beauty in the details often overlooked. The intricate patterns of its wings and the soft, almost ethereal glow of the flower’s bloom create a beautiful harmony, an intimate snapshot of the life that flourishes in the quiet corners of the world.
