El Cipotegato es personaje central de las fiestas de Tarazona en honor de San Atilano. Se trata de una persona ataviada con una indumentaria semejante a la de un arlequín de la baraja: pantalón y chaqueta acolchados con anchas franjas horizontales en rojo, verde y amarillo, cruzadas en diagonal por cintas superpuestas, de los mismos colores, formando rombos.
Con la aparición de este personaje dan comienzo las fiestas, a las doce del mediodía del 27 de agosto. Al sonar las campanadas del reloj del Ayuntamiento, se abre la puerta principal del edificio, de donde sale el Cipotegato, que es esperado por miles de personas, jóvenes principalmente, concentradas en la plaza de España, y éstas, al grito de «Cipote, Cipote», comienzan a lanzarle tomates. Lo que comienza siendo un ataque contra el Cipotegato se transforma en una verdadera batalla campal entre los participantes, mientras el Cipotegato trata de abrirse paso entre el gentío para iniciar una carrera por la ciudad cuyo recorrido es secreto. De regreso a la plaza, es izado hasta el monumento al Cipotegato, desde donde saluda a la multitud, que lo vitorea; desde allí lo trasladan a hombros hasta la Casa Consistorial.
Durante siglos, el Cipotegato salió, por encargo del Cabildo, para ahuyentar a los chiquillos delante de las solemnes procesiones; en su recorrido, los niños le arrojaban las hortalizas que, sobrantes de los mercados, encontraban por el suelo. En el siglo XIX perdió su relación con las ceremonias religiosas y pasó a ser costeado por el Ayuntamiento y, tras la guerra civil, comenzaron a arrojarle tomates. Parece ser, por tanto, que el Cipotegato es una pervivencia de los festejos organizados y reglamentados por las autoridades eclesiásticas durante los siglos XVI y XVII, cuyas raíces se encuentran, posiblemente, en las tradiciones medievales de tipo popular.

El Cipotegato de este año ha sido recibido con 15.000 kilos de tomate. A las 12 en punto del mediodía ha partido del Ayuntamiento y ha hecho su recorrido por las calles de la localidad envuelto en una lluvia de tomates. Así han dado comienzo las fiestas de San Atilano en Tarazona.

Tras el recorrido, Carmelo Armanza, el Cipotegato de este año, ha dado a conocer su identidad en la Plaza de España del municipio. Después de 300 años de tradición, las Fiestas de Tarazona han sido catalogadas de Interés Turístico Nacional, por lo que se espera una gran afluencia de visitantes. De momento, esta mañana 7.000 personas han recibido al Cipotegato.
Almarza ha calificado la experiencia como “muy fuerte, llena de emoción y de sentimiento, que todos los turiasonenses deberían vivir”. Durante esto días, este joven turiasonense participará en diferentes actos festivos. El personaje, con una gran historia a sus espaldas, se ha convertido en un gran foco de atracción apara muchos visitantes que quieren conocer la fiesta y poder ser testigos de la emoción que este acto encierra.
Con la salida del Cipotegato, se inician las fiestas de la ciudad en honor a su patrón San Atilano, que este año celebra su año jubilar. Mañana, las fiestas de Tarazona celebrarán los mil años de la muerte de San Atilano con una recepción de sus reliquias. El acto, al que acudirán una veintena de obispos, estará presidido por el Cardenal Antonio Cañizares, Prefecto del Culto Divino.

I am a stubborn person, I am also very firm about what I believe in. I always used to hate this about myself, although now I realize that it isn't such a bad thing. That sometimes being exactly who you are, is okay. Maybe not everyone will love you, or like what you think, but the people who accept you for what you are, will always be there.
A few months ago I got a tattoo. It symbolized a very tragic time in my life, and an obstacle that I overcame. I wanted it as a reminder that even when you are at your weakest, you can make it. It is hidden away on my back. It is for me.
I had something else happen in my life that I find tragic, and the night that it happened, I found comfort and inspiration in this quote.
"Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow." I instantly knew I wanted it with me forever.
I know that some people find tattoo's awful and weird. I know some don't see the point of them. But I strongly believe that they are a form of art and self expression. In fact, since I got mine, I actually feel a little bit more "myself".
So I took this picture, because tomorrow, I will have a permanent reminder on my right arm, that there is always hope, even in the darkest of times.

Vaghi per le strade bianche e candide guardandoti intorno con la macchina al collo... vedi un soggetto buono, è lì, è tuo! stupendo!! La foto gia si delinea nella mente in tutta la sua bellezza... devi scattare!! è la sola cosa che desideri...
...ombrello sottobraccio, una mano tiene la macchina foto, l'altra, congelata anhe coi guanti, mette a punto l'inquadratura e setta i parametri, intanto, nel pieno della concentrazione, vola via l'ombrello per una folata di vento inprovvisa, ti sposti e fai l'equilibrista per non piombare sulla neve come un sacco di patate... e il soggetto se ne va :-P

Person Eingeklemmt - Schwerer Unfall in Berlin Grunewald
Bei einem Verkehrsunfall wurde heute Morgen eine Person im Fahrzeug eingeklemmt. Der Fahrer eines mit drei Personen besetzten PKW verlor auf der Halenseestraßenbrücke die Kontrolle über sein Fahrzeug und prallte seitlich in einen am Fahrbahnrand befindlichen Lichtmast. Durch die Wucht des Aufpralls wurde der Fahrer eingeklemmt, zwei weitere Personen leicht verletzt.
Alle Insassen wurden in ein Krankenhaus eingeliefert.
Die beschädigte Laterne musste von der Feuerwehr entfernt werden.

Lawilink has been working with persons with albinism for over a year and the contacts with the local authorities and friends we made over that time helped a great deal. Lawilink had a team of 4 Eddah (producer), Ernest(director), Charlene (camera tech) & Zac(photographer/driver) the documentary video we filmed will be loaded soon but for now here are some stories and images. Due to discrimination and violence, we have decided not to add the locations of the shoots.

Alfred chigalu is 17, Alfred is the last born in the family of 4 children the only one born with albinism. Alfred left school in standard 1 because his class mates were mocking him.
Annie Alfred is 10 years in standard 3 at primary school. She lives with both of her parents in bangwe when she grows up she wants to be a nurse. Annie has friends both at school and at home they all love her.
Mercy pangani is 8 years old while Daniel is 6 years old, they are both in standard 1 at primary school. Mercy is the first born Daniel is the second born in a family of 4 children.
Harry and Harrison were born twins with albinism, 9 years of age they were both in standard 1 at school. Robbers broke into their house and kidnapped harry on the 18th February 2016 in the house there was the mother and the three children and the kidnappers injured the mother because the mother was trying to protect harry
Brighton Rashid Wende Wende was 32 years old living with his family, Brighton was a business man, Brighton had seven children and two wives both of the wives have gone back to their parent’s homes.
