Over a period of 3 days Lawilink was ask to on behalf of amnesty international to compile a series of images, surrounding persons with Albinism. Lawilink has been working with persons with albinism for over a year and the contacts with the local authorities and friends we made over that time helped a great deal. Lawilink had a team of 4 Eddah (producer), Ernest(director), Charlene (camera tech) & Zac(photographer/driver) the documentary video we filmed will be loaded soon but for now here are some stories and images. Martha chipeso is 21 years old, Martha left school in standard 2 after suffering discrimination & abuse from other students.
Alfred chigalu is 17, Alfred is the last born in the family of 4 children the only one born with albinism. Alfred left school in standard 1 because his class mates were mocking him.
Annie Alfred is 10 years in standard 3 at primary school. She lives with both of her parents in bangwe when she grows up she wants to be a nurse. Annie has friends both at school and at home they all love her.
Mercy pangani is 8 years old while Daniel is 6 years old, they are both in standard 1 at primary school. Mercy is the first born Daniel is the second born in a family of 4 children.
Harry and Harrison were born twins with albinism, 9 years of age they were both in standard 1 at school. Robbers broke into their house and kidnapped harry on the 18th February 2016 in the house there was the mother and the three children and the kidnappers injured the mother because the mother was trying to protect harry
Brighton Rashid Wende Wende was 32 years old living with his family, Brighton was a business man, Brighton had seven children and two wives both of the wives have gone back to their parent’s homes.

The influential person I chose is Anna Freud, who was a psychologist born in Vienna and daughter of renounded psychoanalist Sigmund Freud in 1895. Her most known contribution to psychology was expanding it to the field of child psychoanalysis, which began in 1922 when she presented her paper “Beatng Fantasies and Daydreams” that introduced the idea of child psychoanalysis. From her work, she was able to make an impact on the field of psychology and expand their study and she was able to have an influence on how people understand the psycholgical workings of a child’s mind, which is inspiring because she was determined to be successful in the field of psychoanalysis.

A new contemporary adaptation by Pati Doménech
IATI Theater kicks-off the world tour of Forbidden Love. This one-woman play is already scheduled to be presented in Egypt, Germany, France, Austria, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. But the show will run first from March 25th to April 3rd at IATI.
Just as in Blood Wedding, Forbidden Love portraits a powerful society whose members have to struggle to defend their individuality and their deepest desires. Yet Forbidden Love takes us a step farther, suggesting that this struggle continues today as individuals face the tyranny of big media companies, fueled by the might of capitalism.
The story in the play is told from the point of view of the mother, a character of unquestionable tragic dimension. This one-woman show intertwines three tragic stories: Paco Montes, protagonist of the story that inspired Lorca to write the play; Leonardo, the character created by Lorca; and Lorca himself, as lead actor in a drama ending in an obscene and absurd death.
Continuing in the creative spirit evident in the play Antigones Heart, Forbidden Love will be performed by Maria Vidal (HOLA Award Winner as Best Outstanding Solo Performance) and directed by Pati Doménech and Jorge López, currently nominated for ACE Awards, to be held in spring 2010, for their work in Antigones Heart, presented at IATI last year during its world tour. In less than two years, Antigones Heart traveled to over twenty-five countries in Africa, Europe, the United States, and Latin America, where it earned numerous awards.

Persone che non si dimenticano: Taorgo, 90 anni, Platone, la politica e l'unica donna della sua vita da 55 anni ("e tu ch'aspetti?"). La sua storia, qui:
Cerca de 400 personas participaron en la Corrida Día del Trabajador, con que la Municipalidad de Viña del Mar, a través de la Casa del Deporte, conmemoró esta importante fecha el domingo 29 de abril 2012.
La actividad impulsada por la alcaldesa Virginia Reginato se insertó dentro de las Corridas Familiares “Corre por Tu Salud”, la que se desarrolló en la distancia de 5 kilómetros entre la Avenida Perú y el Reloj de Flores.
La autoridad comunal se manifestó muy satisfecha con el resultado de la competencia: “El deporte es una buena forma para celebrar a los trabajadores y hoy hemos demostrado una vez más que Viña es la Ciudad del Deporte, en que han participado con entusiasmo personas de todas las edades, con lo que también estamos dando respuesta a la inquietud de las personas por hacer actividad física y deporte y por eso los invito a la corrida del 6 de mayo, que será para celebrar a la mamás”.
La ganadora en damas Paz Hidalgo, agradeció este tipo de iniciativas que está convocando mucha gente para participar sanamente, especialmente pro que Viña del Mar tiene el mejor escenario para correr.
En tanto el triunfador en serie varones, Daniel Estrada, clasificado para el sudamericano, dijo que esto se debe a un trabajo permanente y de preparación para llegar a un campeonato internacional.
Los resultados en la categoría general fueron: Varones: 1º Daniel Estrada (Full Marathon) 17’24”; 2º Danny Castillo y 3º César Gutiérrez
Damas: 1ª Paz Hidalgo (Full Marathon) 23,40; 2ª Daniela Fernández; 3ª Angie Gutiérrez
