Perhaps the best bite I had in Mexico and perhaps the best taco I've ever had.

This bird was swimming and diving along Southsea beach this afternoon, very close to people splashing about at the edge of the water.

It's a new one to me so I checked my bumper book of birds, and it looks like a guillemot. Can anyone confirm?

i saw this yesterday in hayes valley...i wrote a post about it here.

she seemed to be perhaps the only person in the crowd supporting the minutemen, but she wrote deport on the back of a Newsom sign (the minutemen had signs calling him a traiter).

Again inspired by Sei Shonagon. Showing a bit more of me... I liked how the pattern from the lantern made a shadow over my eye.

Another face from the mask collection.

Burj Dundee ? Well, it looks a little like it in the dark

Somehow I don't think the perfectly manicured bowling green could host a game in this!

Taken with my compact.

you can learn a lot about what was going on in this photo. we were in a shabby dark space, based on the grain. the formally dressed arm to the right and the girl in a little black dress tell you this was a high class function but the chips say otherwise, but are redeemed slightly with the stylish bowl.

Dozza Italy is perhaps one of the most vibrant towns I’ve ever been to. That’s because every other year, Dozza hosts a week-long event called Biennale del Muro Dipinto, where artists are invited to paint the streets. This signature art festival occurs on the third week of September during odd-numbered years. I think it’s an amazing way to breathe life into an old and sleepy town.

Once this festival is over, the precious artwork is left behind in the form of street art and murals, making Dozza the open-air art museum that it is.

Painting of Melissa. Almost complete... perhaps a few more hours needed... Damn, I need to photograph this stuff with a proper camera and not my iPhone.

Lukas has been drooling constantly for the past couple of weeks. I'm seriously wondering if he's getting teeth but none have bothered to show themselves yet. Only time will tell...

I think this Port Washington woman on a sailboat in 1975 is Anne (Anna?) Tholl.

Perhaps not quite as crisp as last night's, but the air wasn't as steady, and my hand probably wasn't either. Oh for a T-mount.

perhaps it's colder than usual this winter...

have a nice weekend, friends!

Perhaps not the blue sky of a non-rainy season photo, but I assure you it was warm and nice, both in the water and on land. And frankly, I enjoy cloudy skies to blistering sun.
