Perhaps Peromyscus keeni, Double Bluff Beach, Island County Washington, 8 November 2015.
No reliable charcters for telling between this species and deer mouse (P. maniculatus)
....spring is on its way.
I took stroll around the garden with a coffee when I returned from court today for some fresh air, and saw several of the plants putting on their spring colours, so back into the house for my camera.
From top to bottom - viola, daffies, primroses and kingcups
Perhaps in hindsight, I'll love the sunset in the window, but today it seemed menacing. I can't stop thinking about the Christmas fire in Stamford CT and of the lives that were lost and how the mother can go on. Last night I dreamed that the end of the world had come and everything was gone except for me. It was terrifying.
No, stupid, I've already decided it's a lounge! UPDATE: Colonel Sanders used this area to open his first restaurant. More info in the set.
The village sign for Madingley near Cambridge but with a tiny typo in the motto.
Per Ardua Surgo would mean "I rise through adversity" or something similar, but Surco?
The Madingley Porcupine can be seen as the crest above the arms

This monk and his companion on the opposite side of the niche to the left did not come from Tianlongshan, but they do share the style and iconography of the sculptures there. Perhaps originally placed within a temple hall or cave shrine as disciples of a central buddha figure, the sculptures depict youthful monks dressed in patchwork monastic robes, or kashaya, which traditionally were pieced together from bits of discarded cloth. Monks generally are shown with a shaven pate, the top of the head rounded and dome-shaped. By contrast, buddhas, who also wear monastic robes, are depicted with short hair arranged either in wavy locks or in snail-shell curls; buddhas always have an ushnisha, the cranial protrusion that symbolizes the expanded wisdom gained at the time of their awakening. Together, the Buddha, his Dharma (teachings), and the Sangha (monastic community), form the Three Jewels of Buddhism, whose protection and guidance are sought by worshippers in every ritual performance.
“...perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us once beautiful and brave. Perhaps everything terrible is in its deepest being something helpless that wants help from us.” Rainer Maria Rilke
Perhaps the best example of creative audiences in mainstream media is the Dan and Phil show on Radio 1
Perhaps a fossilized dinosaur egg? hehe Here is a palm canyon close to Palm Springs. A true Californian oasis. This is the eastern edge of the San Jacinto Mountains near to Palm Springs, California. This is at the Indian Canyons Trailhead along the trail known as the Palm Canyon Trail close to Palm Springs, California. This is an Indian Reservation and they close at 5PM! I did not know that. The native palms are Washingtonia filifera or the Californian Fan Palm and are the largest palms native to the USA. This is at the northern edge of the Sonoran Desert.

Dozza Italy is perhaps one of the most vibrant towns I’ve ever been to. That’s because every other year, Dozza hosts a week-long event called Biennale del Muro Dipinto, where artists are invited to paint the streets. This signature art festival occurs on the third week of September during odd-numbered years. I think it’s an amazing way to breathe life into an old and sleepy town.
Once this festival is over, the precious artwork is left behind in the form of street art and murals, making Dozza the open-air art museum that it is.
My catch of the day at Las Animas beach, south of Bahia de Los Angeles, Sea of Cortez. Baja California Norte, Mexico.
Not Zoe's room, but a guest room perhaps?
In October 2009 I spent a day on the Syfy Press Tour visiting sets around Vancouver, BC, Canada for PinkRaygun.com.
Read my review including details from the Q&A with the stars: www.pinkraygun.com/2010/01/22/caprica-rising-report-from-...
These are some of the pictures I took on the set of Caprica. I was an amazing day and Caprica is set to be another blockbuster.
This bird was swimming and diving along Southsea beach this afternoon, very close to people splashing about at the edge of the water.
It's a new one to me so I checked my bumper book of birds, and it looks like a guillemot. Can anyone confirm?
This perhaps shows why Viadana were unable to stem the flow of Sarries' tries - here Glen Jackson outwits Prop Ignacio Rouyet with a quick sidestep. See more photos from this match. Ref: D290-153
