Perhaps the best example of the French École des Beaux-Arts style in America. Currently named the Thomas Jefferson Building.

Architect: Paul J. Pelz & Edward Pearce Casey

Built: 1897

Perhaps it is one of the most photographed scene around Jackson Hole(Teton National Park). Sunrise is the best time to Photograph with warm light on Tetons. I have seen countless of them on the web.

After hectic trip of Yellowstone I drove to Colter Bay Village in heavy rain for a night stay. Before going to bed looked outside it was still drizzling, still set alarm to 4:30am keeping hopes alive :)

I have kind of memorized that I need to take right at Moron junction, kind of ignorant to turn-on GPS. Well ended up driving towards Dubios and it took some time to realize that I have headed in wrong route.

Drove back to Antelopes rd, by that time already it was too late to get that initial warm light. This is all I could capture!

This barn is located on Antelope Flats Rd and Mormon Row intersection. Here are the Google coordinates of the location: +43° 39' 57.94", -110° 39' 43.59"

Perhaps love is like the ocean, full of conflict, full of pain.

Like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains.

If I should live forever, and all my dreams come true.

My memories of love will be of you.

Perhaps my favorite porter

It is very hot in the Netherlands. The weather forecast speaks of tropical temperatures and today it becomes perhaps the hottest day from our recent history...

Het is heel warm in Nederland. Het weerbericht spreekt van tropische temperaturen en vandaag wordt het misschien wel de warmste dag uit de recente geschiedenis....

Perhaps the front bumper has been repainted or replaced, looking at how grey the rear one was!

My Tau signature gamepiece. Painted by me, of course.

Perhaps I should cook something for dinner from one of the red cookbooks on this rainy afternoon.

When I was a girl, i was obsessed with St. Joan of Arc, perhaps because I admired her incredible bravery, leading soldiers into battle. I remember trying to imagine the horror of being burned at the stake. So when I finally acquired some chain mail and a large sword, I knew what I wanted to do.

**FREE GIVEAWAY** -- I am giving away a handmade, 5"x7", accordion-style book this week that contains 15 prints, including one that has never been released. I worked many long hours in creating this last week and I would love for it to go to a good home. It is unique and there will never be another one exactly like it! The process of changing/installing the windscreen wipers on the brand new class 331 unit at Doncaster seemed to be a long drawn out process.

The unit in question was 331 102.

Perhaps a rooster or a goose, this gargoyle adorns St Vitus Cathedral.

perhaps I would be better suited to the the "Woman Next Door"

Pyramid Lake in northern Nevada. The foreground shore was well covered in shadow from the Virginia mountain range that was at my back, and I think provided very nice contrasts to the sheen of the water that was being illuminated by the reflection of the last rays of sun off the clouds - truly giving way for a indirect translation...

Hi everyone! I have updated my Imagekind gallery with some of my most commented and fave'd photos here on Flickr. Here is a direct link to my Imagekind gallery: Digit_AL's Imagekind Gallery Thank you all so much for all your support and meaningful comments, and faves. I am looking forward to adding new material to my Flickr gallery and as well as my blog.

Perhaps my favorite national park lodge. The only one where you can get up before dawn and watch guests with backpacks, ice axes and climbing wands checking out.

Perhaps the Castle with the most famous name, 5069 Isambard Kingdom Brunel has a full load of coal as it comes off Bristol Bath Road Shed in the early 1960's. Allocated to Plymouth Laira from 1954 until withdrawal in February 1962, the loco was put into store at Laira, but poor preparation for Winter storage resulted in sufficient damage for the loco to be summoned to Swindon and withdrawn. It was dismantled at the works. Had the loco survived until 1964/65 it may well have become a celebrity engine and the subject of preservation, as 7029 Clun Castle did, kept in service at Gloucester Horton Road for six months after the withdrawal of all other members of the class.

Perhaps pardon will come if you smile?

Perhaps the best Yuletide decoration is being wreathed in smiles.

Perhaps the most famous house at Dungeness is Prospect Cottage, formerly owned by the late artist and film director Derek Jarman. The cottage is painted black, with a poem, part of John Donne's "The Sunne Rising", written on one side in black lettering. But the garden is the main attraction: reflecting the bleak, windswept landscape of the peninsula, Derek Jarman's garden is made of pebbles, driftwood, scrap metal and a few hardy plants.

The late film-maker Derek Jarman created a wonderfully low-key and poetic garden from driftwood sculpture and the hardiest local wild plants in front of his black clapboard cottage in the shadow of Dungeness power station. It’s been maintained by his former partner Keith Collins, who tolerates the steady trickle of garden and Jarman enthusiasts taking it all in from the road. You don’t need to intrude beyond that and there is no official visiting. The cottage is on the single track Lydd road from Dungeness and visible from the miniature railway; be sure to get the right one, as the garden has been imitated by a couple of its neighbours. It’s a ten-minute walk along the shingle beach to the railway station.

Perhaps in true Yogi style this bear was looking for picnic baskets?

D17654. Does anyone recognise this attractive building?

It's in Miniland at Legoland, Windsor and Edinburgh Castle is out of shot close by. I am therefore wondering whether this building might also be in Edinburgh, or somewhere else in Scotland.

Perhaps I'm partial, but this valley offers so many opportunities, The watershed has always been plentiful, the terrain is challenging, and the scenery is endless. Nearly 75% of the land on the south half of the river is George Washington National Forest and most of it is deemed Wilderness.

Perhaps more sensibly than mine (which is in the boot), the CD changer lives inside the upper glovebox. There's a larger glovebox below.

Perhaps the best picture I've had the privilege to capture. I'm really pleased with this image.

Perhaps I should wear a hoop petticoat to give this dress some volume?

Perhaps the best way to arrive in Venice is in a cruise ship, just after dawn. Ten or twelve decks up, you will be presented with views of the city that will never be seen during a ground level visit.

Smaller ships dock a short walk from St. Marks Square.

Perhaps my best large red Cattleya.

Carter & Holmes cross. Fantastic fragrance too.

Perhaps the greatest technological achievement of Peterhof is that all of the fountains operate without the use of pumps. Water is supplied from natural springs and collects in reservoirs in the Upper Gardens. The elevation difference creates the pressure that drives most of the fountains of the Lower Gardens, including the Grand Cascade. The Samson Fountain is supplied by a special aqueduct, over four km in length, drawing water and pressure from a high-elevation source.

Possessing the supreme marks, face immaculate like the full moon,

Golden-coloured one, we prostrate to you.

Free from stains, in the three worlds there is no one like you.

To you who have incomparable wisdom, we prostrate.

Commit not a single unwholesome action,

Cultivate a wealth of virtue,

To tame this mind of ours,

This is the teaching of the Buddha.

From the 'Praise to Shakyamuni Buddha'.

Today is Sakadawa, the day in the Tibetan tradition of Buddhism when the Buddha was born, when he gained enlightenment, and when he died. So as you can imagine, it's a pretty special day: like Christmas, Easter, Eid and Hanukka all rolled into one!

The month of Sakadawa is usually celebrated with various activities, and one tries to do as many good deeds as possible. Unlike most religions (where animals are eaten to celebrate), people are urged not to consume meat during this month, in order to honour the Buddha. Now I'll leave you with the final words of the Buddha:

'All component things pass away. Strive with diligence for your own liberation'.

Detail of the mosaic wall that is to the right and left of the original entrance to preacher Howard Finster's Paradise Gardens. Finster halted his various enterprises to respond to a vision where the Almighty directed Finster to spread the word through art. If you look above and to the left of the practice grenade near the center of the wall fragment presented here, you'll see a gold charm with the words, "Perhaps Today," which is a reminder to believers that they will not know the time of the second coming of Jesus. (Double click to get very close.)

Perhaps the biggest 1940s re-enactment show in the country. |Complete with a temporary airfield for the duration of the show, various aircraft can land and take off, and fly over the showground for air displays. Attending will be thousands of re-enactors from all theatre's of war, allies and axis , living history groups will displaying in adjacent fields . Add that to the hundreds of military vehicles attending .

I'm off to Kham in Western Sichuan next month. In the meantime I need to brush up on my Tibetan Buddhist iconography. I'm not sure if this distinctly feminine deity is a buddha or a bodhisattva (or something else entirely). I'm sure the caption next to it in the Capital Museum provided that information. Must learn to take notes.

perhaps one of the most iconic scenes from the Hobbit Motion Pictures Trilogy, capturing the moment when Bilbo decides to join the Dwarves, clutching the contract in his hands.
