Perhaps nothing is more iconic in Rockford railroading than the famous and steep ramp track that connects CP and IR to UP. CP and IR interchange cars with UP in the upper UP yard. In prior eras it was used by the Milwaukee Road and the CB&Q.
There's speculation about IR one day taking over UP's remaining customers in Rockford and Loves Park, cutting service back to a point at I-90 in Cherry Valley. That would potentially involve rebuilding the ramp track so that trains enter and exit from the west instead of the east, allowing IR if it goes through to abandon the tail track that crosses Main Street and is required when moving strings of freight cars up and down it.
Perhaps 25 miles east of Reykjavik, it supplies the capitol with electricity and hot water. A bit SW of Þingvallavatn (or Thingvallavatn) Lake.

Is your doll modeling a couture kimono and kanzashi or a colorful kawaii street style ensemble for a fashion shoot? Is your doll a food critic in search of the Japanese restaurant with the most authentic and delectable sushi and sashimi? Or perhaps your doll(s) prefers Asian-inspired décor such as shoji screens, paper lanterns, and silk wall scrolls to decorate his/her home. More inspiration can be found with meditation areas with Zen gardens, chimes, mini fountains, and Buddha statues! How you approach this theme is entirely up to you. One of Japanese culture is pop culture. We have so many charactors in Japan. Coincidently, Mattel produced Hello Kitty fashions. That is one of the most famous charactors.
And some young girls dye their hair blonde and put color contact lens as fashon.

Perhaps it is one of the most photographed scene around Jackson Hole(Teton National Park). Sunrise is the best time to Photograph with warm light on Tetons. I have seen countless of them on the web.
After hectic trip of Yellowstone I drove to Colter Bay Village in heavy rain for a night stay. Before going to bed looked outside it was still drizzling, still set alarm to 4:30am keeping hopes alive :)
I have kind of memorized that I need to take right at Moron junction, kind of ignorant to turn-on GPS. Well ended up driving towards Dubios and it took some time to realize that I have headed in wrong route.
Drove back to Antelopes rd, by that time already it was too late to get that initial warm light. This is all I could capture!

Barrow Alaska Observatory (BRW), established in 1973, is located on the northern most point of the United States. It is about 8 km northeast of the village of Barrow and has a prevailing east-northeast wind off the Beaufort Sea. In addition, the National Weather Service (NWS) maintains a weather observing facility in Barrow. Although the measurements at Barrow are made over open tundra, there are large lagoons and a number of lakes in the vicinity, and the Arctic Ocean is less than 3 km northwest of the site. Because of its proximity to these bodies of water and the fact that the prevailing winds are off the Beaufort Sea, BRW is perhaps best characterized as having an Arctic maritime climate affected by variations of weather and sea ice conditions in the Central Arctic.
This facility is manned year round by 2 engineers/scientists to complete routine inspections and maintenance of the instruments. Due to its unique location, dedicated and highly trained staff, and excellent power and communications infrastructure, the Barrow Observatory is host to numerous cooperative research projects from around the world.
The process of changing/installing the windscreen wipers on the brand new class 331 unit at Doncaster seemed to be a long drawn out process.

Perhaps the Castle with the most famous name, 5069 Isambard Kingdom Brunel has a full load of coal as it comes off Bristol Bath Road Shed in the early 1960's. Allocated to Plymouth Laira from 1954 until withdrawal in February 1962, the loco was put into store at Laira, but poor preparation for Winter storage resulted in sufficient damage for the loco to be summoned to Swindon and withdrawn. It was dismantled at the works. Had the loco survived until 1964/65 it may well have become a celebrity engine and the subject of preservation, as 7029 Clun Castle did, kept in service at Gloucester Horton Road for six months after the withdrawal of all other members of the class.
