Dance Kaleidoscope’s stay in Springfield, Ohio consisted of 27 different residency activities prior to a public concert. These included master classes at universities and dance schools, speeches at the local Rotary Club, elementary school performances, and even a collaboration with Project Jericho's "Inside the Walls, Outside the Box" program (a project with youth in the Juvenile Detention Center.)
In their final report to Arts Midwest, Clark State Community College said that funding from the Performing Arts Fund “has made our second (and our first) week-long dance residency possible. Without this funding, it simply could not have happened. The ultimate result is that we are developing a contemporary dance audience, creating new work, providing work for regional dance companies, and providing contemporary dance experiences to our audiences.”
An evening of Turkish, Dutch & Low Saxon poetry. The 3rd of may at 18.30 Ronnie Margulies, Anneke Claus, Gonca Özmen and Jan Glas will read their poems at the Netherlands Institute in Istanbul, Turkey.

This year marks the 11th year of the Promotion of Girls’ Education “Ba Inkubito y’Icyeza n’ishema ry’abakobwa”, with 198 girls from across the nation, awarded for their academic achievements, in the following school cycles: 143 from primary school; and at the secondary school level, 30 girls from S3, and 25 from S6.
Since the beginning of this campaign in 2005, over 4,200 BPGs have been recognised and rewarded with scholastic materials, essential funds to create savings accounts, and girls in senior 6, were also rewarded with a laptop and IT training.
This 2016 Best Performing Girls Campaign is among the various events held under the celebration of the 15th anniversary of Imbuto Foundation.

A brand new, never-seen-before play, written in 2015 by Philip Ayckbourn that explores the ‘what if’ scenario of a couple who, meeting with their younger selves, attempt to re design their lives by convincing their younger selves to make different choices. Will they be able to alter things for the better or will they just repeat the same mistakes they made the first time round? The scenario raises some interesting philosophical musings about time, relationships and the road not taken as well as providing fertile territory for plenty of comedy/farce.

The UMKC Conservatory's annual fundraising gala and performance, sponsored by the Friends of the Conservatory, thrilled guests, November 4, 2022. Guests enjoyed a gala dinner in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts' Brandmeyer Hall. A performance by the Conservatory students and faculty, with guest alumni followed in Helzberg Hall. The event raised money for Conservatory student scholarships.

Hauschka and Pamela Z perform at the CAST Marathon Concert on April 5th, 2013 at Kresge Auditorium
The four-hour CAST spring concert, following up on 2011’s popular FAST Forward New Music Marathon, features renowned guest artists Hauschka, Pamela Z., and Dewa Alit performing solo works and with students in MIT’s own Gamelan Galak Tika, Glass Lab Orchestra, Lamine Touré and Rambax. Traversing the spectrum of contemporary musical practice, the marathon will conclude with an unprecedented world fusion version of Terry Riley’s anthemic In C, featuring Senegalese drums, original glass instruments, electronics, and western instruments.
