As an actor, Maggie has tread the boards in improvised, devised, and scripted plays at The Rendezvous, Theatre Off Jackson, and The Triple Door to name a few. She is proud to have been part of the Gregory Award-winning ensemble of Deers at Annex Theatre. Her skills as a clown, sketch, and physical comedian have enabled her to create memorable characters and ambient performances, including the beloved Pizza Mermaid, who brings saucy joy to children and adults alike. Her one-woman show, 3 Raccoons in a G-String, was made on a dare.
In addition to acting, Maggie is also a renowned burlesque, cabaret artist, and go go dancer who was famously kicked off a Jet Blue flight because of her shorts. She has performed at numerous festivals throughout the US and Canada, and holds the title of “Dirty, Dirty Stripper” from the Seattle Burlesque Games, where she also was crowned co-Mayor of Seattle Burlesque in 2017.
Unafraid of audience interaction, Maggie’s sex work experience colors her approach to performance art, where she specializes in rituals and fetish performance. She has written extensively about her experiences as a sex worker for Tits & Sass, and is a script consultant for intimacy and sensitivity. Maggie has produced cabaret shows, fundraisers, and curated entertainment for parties and events. She is the co-founder of The Last Chance Dancers, an all nude punk rock revue set to vinyl records in Brooklyn.
Before the pandemic she was bi-coastal but now she is pretty much New York's problem.

This digital album contains images from my 2022-23 "Life is Drag" residency at The Cell in Chelsea, NYC. It includes video stills pulled from the 100+ video portraits created (performances documented), behind the scenes production shots taken during my 6 months at The Cell, and documentation of the two panels I produced and spoke with as a part of this residency -- at Symphony Space (in conjunction with the Municipal Art Society of New York), and at The Cell (in conjunction with Franklin Furnace and CADAF). I create bodies of work that explore gender, artifice, and spectacle. Utilizing directorial, curatorial, and anthropological processes, I showcase exuberantly irrepressible personalities who revel in challenging clichés and taboos to rethink and reimagine the gender construct. A sampling of subjects include Girls Girls Girls - the world's first and only all-female Mötley Crüe tribute band, and Tazzie Colomb - the world's longest competing professional female bodybuilder and powerlifter. Since 2019, I have been working exclusively on "Life is Drag" - the largest living digital archive of drag in the United States.
Drag is a poetic synthesis of painting, sculpture, sound and performance. It is also an amalgam of self-discovery, transformation, permission, actualization, revolution, utopia, community, catharsis, and ultimately - radical self-expression. Drag is ART - and life IS drag. And "Life is Drag" has become my (Rachel Rampleman) life's work. I am a one-person production team - handling all research, curation, communication, lighting, shooting, editing, interviewing, archive building, residency outreach, and more. With "Life is Drag", I document the most innovative and singular performers - selected from a wide range of locations, backgrounds, cultures, and ages - who are currently exploding onto the national drag scene. This ever-evolving archive includes documentation of performances and interviews, and over the course of the last several years I have created 350+ video portraits, showcasing 200+ LGBTQIA performers - collaborating with them in my studio, as well as during residencies in New York City, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and New England (so far).
These documented performances and interviews are added to my online archive at lifeisdrag.com, as well as projected or featured as site-specific multi-channel installations at “brick and mortar” venues ranging from spaces like Wave Pool, a non-profit gallery in my hometown of Cincinnati, to the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh. I have also produced live events and hosted panel discussions in partnership with organizations such as Symphony Space, Franklin Furnace, and The Municipal Art Society of New York -- about the importance of documenting this important but ephemeral art form, as well as about the current drag bans in the United States and New York’s radical resistance to these worsening restrictions.

Adele will perform her Oscar-nominated theme song from Skyfall at the 85th Academy Awards ceremony, the show's producers said Wednesday. They said that the performance will be the first time she will have performed "Skyfall" anywhere live and her first U.S. TV performance since the Grammys last year.
After a break from the spotlight due to her pregnancy, Adele recently appeared at the Golden Globes and accepted an award for the song there.
Producers previously also announced a tribute to the 50-year-old Bond franchise during the Oscar show and telecast.
The song, "Skyfall," from the James Bond film, is nominated in the best original song category at the Oscars. Written by Adele and Paul Epworth, it is the first Bond theme ever to debut in Billboard's top 10 chart and the first to be nominated for an Oscar since "For Your Eyes Only" in 1981.
"It's an honor to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again," said Adele. "It's something I've never experienced and probably only ever will once!"
"We have enormous respect for Adele's unique artistry as a songwriter and a singer," said Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the producers of this year's Oscar show. "She is currently one of the most successful recording artists in the world, and we believe that her performance of "Skyfall" will be an exciting Oscar moment for audiences watching at the Dolby Theatre and on television screens around the world."
The Oscars will be handed out on Feb. 24, at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center. Seth MacFarlane will host the awards show on ABC.

The history of The Konks is colorfully explained on their MySpace page:
A few years back, Skinny Mike from the now defunct Speed Devils called up friend Bob Wilson and mentioned he was putting on a shindig called the White Trash Fest and asked Bob if he wanted a slot on the bill. Of course Bob accepted, now all he had to do was form a band. Bob called up Kurt Davis who came aboard no questions asked. Kurt and Bob wrote up a set list of original songs before they even picked up instruments or wrote any music. Bob then asked Jon Porth if he wanted to join their band. They had a gig lined up and a list of song titles. Jon said, "Sure, oh by the way, what instrument am I playing?” They met in the backroom of the old Mystery Train records store in Boston. Bob brought his beat up guitar and his sixties Sears & Roebuck amp. Jon dragged a homemade upright bass that was found in the trash and held together with duct tape. Kurt showed up with his voice of an angel (ha), a tom, a snare and a case of PBR, hoping the beer would make up for his lack of drum kit. He dumped some albums out of two milk crates, one crate labeled Jazz, the other Blues and threw the snare on top of the stack. The Konks were born. Sometime after midnight in the back of that record store, three rock n’ roll luvin’, record collectin’, beer drinkin’ musicians with hearts in the past and minds in the future proceeded to pick up their instruments and create some real true Rock n’ Roll magic. But right before that magic happened, the guys decided to take a break, crack some more beers and chew the fat a little bit more. Thus the magic eluded them and they never stumbled on it again. With no magic, a little luck and even less talent the Konks still have a lot of fun playing their out of tune, out of fashion and out of control brand of Rock n’ Roll, labeled by some as "Garage Punk" but labeled by most as "a goddamn racket" ..

Shelly Wattenbarger makes films, performs, sculpts and teaches under the alias TrixySweetvittles. In addition to teaching undergraduate animation production courses, she runs a directed studies course focusing on bringing animation education to the community.
Her ceramic diaramapods will be shown at the Armory in Pasadena this fall. Screenings of her films “La Mujer Lagartija”, “Mermaids and Pickles” and “Dream Lover Fondue” include the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the Holland Animation Festival and the SXSW film festival. Her one-woman puppet show “Pudinella Parsnip” was showcased in the 1998 Jim Henson International Puppetry Festival. Her professional experience includes serving as animation director for Nickelodeon’s “Blue’s Clues”. In addition, she has over ten years experience teaching animation to K-12 students and working with non-profit youth arts organizations. From 2003-2007, she chaired the animation department for the California State Summer School for the Arts. She was a site instructor for the Community Arts Partnership Sony Pictures Media Arts Program from 2004-2006 and the CAP/Inner-City Arts High School animation program in 2006.

The Creighton Dance Company performed their Spring 2004 recital, Peter and the Wolf, on the Mainstage of the Lied Education Center for the Arts on the Creighton University campus. Exceptional people from the Media industry in Pakistan came to visit and enlighten the students of Hajvery University regarding the Performing Arts. An overwhelming majority of students gathered in the auditorium to attend the seminar.
Madiha Gohar has worked tirelessly on all her projects to bring her home land pride. Ms. Madiha talked about what performing arts is and how to cultivate and grow talent. How the Performing Arts field demands confidence in one’s self, boldness and strong belief in ones point of view to succeed. She gave an overview of her efforts for the Ajoka theatre, the social theatre running in Pakistan for over a decade, it’s launch and how the small group of people who had the conviction and courage to stand by their belief finally made Ajoka theatre a success story not only in Pakistan but also Internationally.
Mr. Noor Ul Hassan involved the students with his hilarious jokes and tales, not only refreshing his young audience but also delivering the simple message that all it takes is belief in one’s self and conviction. He told the students that life is never easy and it will always take courage and determination to succeed and become what they want to become. He told the students to follow their dreams and motivated them to achieve them. .At the end of the event shield was given by Rector Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Pervaiz to Noor-ul-Hassan and Madiha Gohar. HU platform is available for all kind of activities which polish the talent and motivate the students.

CA Dance Company performs "The Invention of Morel" by Adolfo Bioy Casares. For the work the Company, directed by Richard Colton, has been collaborating this year with the CA Science Program's John Pickle and Max Hall, and CA's engineering club, The Demons. The dancers, a cast of fifteen, will interplay with an original film created for "Morel," by CA Film teacher Justin Bull and music by contemporary composers Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington. The dance's scenario is by Jared Green and set and light design by Ian Hannan.
