This evening of 4 simultaneous performances was easily one of the most enjoyable evenings I've experienced this year.
In an indiscreet location, Guadalupe Martinez wrote from entrance door, down stairs, into the main hangar-like room
where Nelly César was taping huge sections of geometric shapes around tables, around standing people, around sitting people,
while Emilio Rojas had locked himself inside a clothes dryer with only a massive flashlight, his robes trailing out of the closed door.
Luciana D'Anunciação danced in a head-to-toe frilled layered costume, contorting her body every which way, at times poking sections of her body out, teasingly, while Alex Mah accompanied her on guitar.
After Luciana's performance, Emilio Rojas would emerge to spread stones across the cement floor, then move from room to room, spraying a garden hose on himself, on his plants, then get undressed, and proceed to set off a fire extinguisher…

The performance artist Sandra Johnston from Northern Ireland will be living in the Aarhus suburb Gellerup for some time, creating art in collaboration with the citizens.
To mark the beginning of her stay she gave a performance. Armed with four speed markers, she painted the walls, thus giving her reactions to readings from four persons in the small room.
They were reading from the Astrid Lindgren's classic children's book about Emil (in Swedish) from an official document, from the Holy Coran (in Arabic) and from a personal diary containing poetry.
I doubt that Ms Johnston understood much of the words, more likely she reacted to the mood in the small and at times crowded room. And so did I.

Performed in Art Centre, Tehran, Iran.
Iran is facing an imminent drought emergency due to pollution and the wrong direction we have taken with treating our planet, an emergency which we need to take into account in order to properly develop as a species.
“Suffron Tears” has been specifically created for Soul of the desert exhibition as saffron is known as the red gold of desert because its origin is Iran's deserts and it’s also were droughts are increasing dramatically.
The suffron-ice-cube held by the performer slowly weeps its tears to remind us, who we really are as human being and what we really need, the healer property of this magic flower drips his ancient knowledge in our perceptions, connecting us with nature, reminding us of the risk we are
taking by treating the planet the way we are nowadays.
The white clothes stained of saffron will function as a memorial stone with inscriptions of nature, who asks for help, our ancestors remind us the right way to be.
The shirt imprinted with saffron is what will remain of this action.
