I was trying to shoot this pay phone on Western when a drunk dude stumbled out of a nearby bar and decided to pretend he was calling his mom for a ride home. Unfortunately, the autofocus wasn't working (a problem I've had before with this camera).

Goodbye to the Midway for another year... Apparently this was the second or third time that the High Performance Rodeo has done this particular event, I just somehow never heard about it last year, ah well... Next year I plan to be there again...

And in the meantime, the whole festival continues until the end of January, more information at High Performance Rodeo, but I don't have a photo pass for any of the other events, so that's all I'm getting this year...

Velcro shoes are an example of a reduced performance load. Compared to shoes that have shoelaces, or boots that have laces and zippers, velcro strap shoes require minimal steps. Slip-on shoes require even less steps, letting the user just put on the shoe and go.
