I chose to take the photo like this so it would look like Colin is standing on Vic's head. There is not much emotion conveyed in this photo; but I primarily focused on making both subjects look like they were in the same ground, and one was not in the background. I took this at a shutter speed of 1/60, an ISO of 100, and an aperture of f/16. I used a wider aperture to make the back and foreground look clear and closer together.
As earth consciousness continues its journey toward extremes...
This has more to do with massive earth changes than true conflicts...
We are a refection on our earth with its series of loops and changes; and our earth, a mirror of evolution...
View VIDEO CLIP from Wilrijkse Plein, Antwerpen... Which is the closest thing I could find to the type of running script which finds us indulging in the perceptive ciaos that we call reality.
And read some astounding Predictions

He's heating to soften for shaping, with hammering and snipping, a heart of glass. But from this angle it's he who seems aflame, from a torch that appears to blaze from his chest towards his face. Through emotional equivalents of burning, hammering, and cutting, our hearts perhaps are likewise being smoothed and formed.
In a picture, the compression of 3 dimensions of space into 2 creates optical illusions. But who knows how many dimensions have been compressed to create the 4 we experience of time and space and who knows all the illusions that will be dispelled when our perception includes other dimensions?
DAY 011/365: "Perception"
"Intercepted deceptions, falsify a universal accepted direction,
To reject neglected objection, & allow an infected complexion perception... "
Open your eyes, really open your eyes. Don't let obstacles & road blocks force you to close your eyes, simply open your eyes wider to find a way around it. Don't let the rain & thunder make you close your eyes, simply just wipe it away & keep lookin' forward. The worst thing you could possibly do is to shut your eyes to the things you don't want to see. There is a lot more to what you see, then what your eyes show you... Think about it. Your eyes don't really work how you think they do. All your eyes do is look at what you're lookin' at, all it does is send the signals to your brain. But it's up to you on what you decide to make of those signals. There's a difference between actually lookin', & overlookin'.

Its funny how our perception of what's home and what's near and dear to us changes over time.
At one point, this sunset which used to be a highlight of my day is now a mere distant memory.
" Pictures are just a way
To hold on to what you knew,
Cos even if the memories don't change,
The people in them often do. "
This photograph is my coming to terms with my ancestors and cultural practices. Somalia has always been “the other” to me, and as a teenager, anything other seemed like what kept me from belonging. Little did I realize that I had an entire world, an entire ancient cultural practice, that I belonged to that surpassed any religion.
The necklace in this photo belongs to my grandmother. The dress is my mothers'. I am looking away from the camera because in my own way, I’m still finding my footing. I’m not quite here, or there. I’m learning. But I’m where I need to be.

I have these glasses sitting on my desk most of the time, and I have a whole container of them on my TV stand. They look like cheesy toy sunglasses, but they're actually much more than that. These are polarized 3D glasses for my TV set, but they look so goofy nobody believes me! I have found that recycling the glasses from cinematic 3D movies is a good way to get more, as it is the same technology!
Before online communities, people gained their perceptions about other countries exclusively through the media
A fun shot I put together in a few minutes. Messing around with saturation and hue. Flipped and applied a gradient. A little off, but still cool nonetheless!
Each one on us has a different perception of :
Life
Love
Happiness
Sadness
Death...
Once, i was told that noboby could see the everyday world in the same way, with the same eyes, the same vision.
I got toughtful for a little while...
And there, i understood the importance of feelings and the different ways to express them, the impact words can have on us...
The importance to express what you feel...

This space on the ground floor of the library is designed to be very open and accessible to large numbers of people, with computers, a print room and study tables, which I think makes it a negative learning space for me.
I think this space is negative for the kind of study that I like doing, as it is often very busy by the checkout desk and also very noisy due to most other people engaging in discussion (both study-related and non-study-related!) or group study.
I just refound a discussion about sharp images. Some people think that sharpness can be sacrificed for the feel of a picture. I sometimes like the effect, to tell the truth, but am aware that perception is always different. Even the same person can change how they react to a scene. I think that bees see things completely different to what we do, so anthropocentric judgements are limited in the scope of "things"... Oh well, the discussion is in the thread of someone who captures images in a candy box with a paper negative. His results are dreamlike. I recommend it, if you are interesting in perception or want to see what I'm talking about. www.flickr.com/photos/mickey1/3291098077/
If you have not pondered on perception, lucky you, or maybe you re too young. These things usually change with time
