Our pepper plants are doing very well this year! So far we’ve pickled four large jars of banana peppers, one jar of jalapeños, and made eight bottles of hot sauce (mostly fresno peppers with some jalapeño & banana thrown in). We’ve also used them for cooking quite a bit.
The cucumbers have been the same. We’ve had so many that we’ve been giving a lot of them away. It’s been great having fresh veggies!

I'm not able to get on here at the moment because I've barely got time to sit down. Work, family and everything else is eroding my free time but I thought I'd reassure you all that I'm still alive !!!
This little beauty landed on the road outside my home a few days ago while I was making Willow Tit nest boxes for a local restoration project.
Aside from the bananas growing in our New Orleans yard, we also have a pepper plant that is doing well! I am not a pepper person, and Ken hasn't picked any to try yet, but the bananas are truly delicious and much richer than any I have ever had from the grocery store!

Peppers gets a twinkle in his eyes when I let him out to wander the farm. He enjoys sampling the greenery, from the grass to the pine trees.
UPDATE!! Pepper has been placed with a lovely family, a mother and her grade-school-aged daughter. He's now an indoor cat and loving his new life!
PREVIOUSLY:
Pepper's about eight months old. He was abandoned recently when his "family" moved away and left him here. He is a wonderful cat, affectionate, attractive and gentle. We are having him neutered as soon as we get paid again. Pepper has never lived in a house, in fact it's unlikely he's ever been in one. We're trying to train him to become an indoor cat. Here's the problem: we have four rescues already. Along with our breeding program we are in danger of being overrun with cats! Pepper needs a home. Someone needs to step up and rescue this marvelous animal. We're working on that.

Baby bell peppers - I like to take the seeds out, stuff them with goat cheese and grill them.
Peppers had been enjoying the cedar trees, but it was time for him to go back into the goat/sheep enclosure. I broke off a branch and lured him along with it, and gave it to him once we were inside. Then the other animals came over and tried to steal it from him.
