So I love my shawl but can you see how the part that is supposed to be the top (the bottom purple section) is triangular and looks like a point, as though it should be the bottom? You really can't wear it well the way I am holding it but it is a strange thing that results, I think, from the short rows. You can't tell in this picture but the dark color bled on the light color in little splotches. I am going to attempt to soak it in Synthropol (a dye release product) with some color catchers and see if I can get it out.
Shot with my 3 year old phone's creaky 1.3 Mp camera at a killer show by pendulum. As is, not what it can become. Once I get my computer back to being my mad manipulation toy, with any luck this is gonna come alive. The the the lights are evolving in my mind, and I hope can show you all what i'm seeing in the near future.

Two changes from the old design:
1) The wing nut is on the bottom -- this makes it easier to tighten by hand and will hopefully be more secure.
2) The stop nut with internal hitch pin is new. In normal operation there's no stress on this component. But if the first nut loosens, it will come in contact with the blocking nut. The hitch pin keeps the backup nut in place and should be immune to vibration.
(I'll add a little keeper string between the hitch pin and pendulum so it doesn't get lost in the field.)
Pendulum "The Unseen Impact" is the theme for our first TEDxDamanhur event for 2016. This year we decided to choose topics about the backstage process which nobody knows about it, but everyone knows the final stage thinking it's easy to reach this stage. Hope you enjoy our photos.
