Pendleton, IN. - What a day! What a day Christmas was. Christmas in Pendleton, Indiana that is. From early Saturday morning with the crowing of the Pendleton Snow Princess, the measuring of what is probably a record snow by Parade Grand Marshall, Alicia Roman of WISH-TV and then toward evening with the Christmas Tree Lighting and caroling, the entire town of Pendleton was filled with children, parents, and shoppers for a day that will be long remembered by all.

Today during the Fall Creek Festival I decided to put put my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to the test of being my sole source for photos and videos during this event.

While I have used my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to take a lot of photos and videos for my website I had not used it as the primary camera for a day-long photo shoot.

I will be talking more about what the results and my thoughts about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 capabilities in another video very soon on YouTube (www.youtube.com/user/xg6250/)

Pendleton, OR, originated as a station on the old Oregon Trail. It's history is rich and it is a very 'western' town. I found these saddles in Hamley's right downtown. I have no use for a saddle, but I thought the image interesting.
