Classic retro style Pendleton cycle. Personally I prefer something with around 1000cc ... argh no! That avenue of pleasure has been closed off! Dammit! Anyways, it looked lovely so I shot it ... with the Zuiko 75mm I mean.

Beechcraft C35 Bonanza C-FHIB built in 1953 and pictured at Pendleton, Oregon. Although Canadian registered under one wing, she was officially registered in the USA as N673D from 2016.

Pendleton once had two stations, about 100 yards apart on the same main road. Originally Pendleton Broad Street, this was the survivor in the 1980s, with services to Blackburn, Wigan and Manchester. There was a second, identical double-sided platform on the right at one time. Pendleton was so close to Salford Crescent that it closed shortly after that station was opened.
