The Guardhouse (jail) was built on the public square in 1860, with the one-story front addition added abut 1911. The building was later used as a public library. It now houses the Magistrate's Office.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- The School of Infantry West and the Armed Services YMCA hosted the seventh annual "Home Hospitality" event here on Thanksgiving. At the event, families were able to adopt Marines for the day to share the holiday and Marines were eligible to win prizes prior to their departure to the homes.

Pendleton, Indiana (10-27-2012) What does it mean when you see Mr. Dick Creger with the Pendleton Lions Club walking into Falls Park followed one of Pendleton, Indiana’s fire trucks and being driven by Mr. Denny Meyer? It means that a parade can’t be far behind. And it wasn’t because it was time for the annual Pendleton, Indiana Lions Club Halloween Parade and costume contest!
There was no doubt about it, Pendleton, Indiana and the Pendleton, Indiana Lions Club are in a "Halloween-State-of-Mind" again this year.
Saturday morning, after the Halloween Parade through town, the Pendleton Lions Club held their annual Halloween Costume judging in Falls Park.
Even with the weather being pretty chilly a large number of people of all ages gathered at the shelter house by the pond to show off their Halloween costumes.
There were some very cool and creative costumes this year. Everyone had a great time thanks to Lions Club member, Mr. Dick Creger, who MC'd the event this year.
The judges this year were, Mr. Bill Hutton, Jeanette Isbell, and Dr. Phillip Shirley, DVM.

Today during the Fall Creek Festival I decided to put put my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to the test of being my sole source for photos and videos during this event.
While I have used my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to take a lot of photos and videos for my website I had not used it as the primary camera for a day-long photo shoot.
