Tent Pegging , Pakistan

I made these for my "Equally Mad About the Twenties as I am" friends!! These are hand painted wooden peg dolls, wth crystal accents and one smart young lady is sporting a feather. These were made for dear friends of mine, one is a little mini me of the recipient!!

Pegs on a frosty winters morning.

We had to create an inovative advertisment for a an everyday object. but we also had to advertise it as something completly different to its normal use. This was my result. West Herts College, foundation diploma art and design 07! was very painful!

Office Manager

Peg is responsible for Westergaard’s general bookkeeping and monthly invoicing. She enjoys the challenge of gathering all of the info each month and putting the pieces of the puzzle together. She is also usually the voice on the phone when you call Westergaard Advertising.

Prior to joining the agency, Peg worked for 12 years in the banking industry. Her experience also includes work in retail and flexing her creative muscles as a decorative (faux) painter.

Peg lives on a farm west of Adel, Iowa where she does the books for that operation too — corn, beans, hay, and cattle. She and her husband have two grown sons and three grandchildren.

I really must get back into making peg dollies. A few years back (pre-flickr!) I used to make them all the time with my sister. I love the drawings of these ones.

Reprise of photo taken at Haemelschenburg in the summer of 1974.

The blue sky was full of gorgeous, fluffy clouds today - so I went out and pointed the camera upwards.

The pegs in their basket always remind me of children's toys, bright coloured and tactile. A clever disguise for a tool for a boring household job.
