I pegged out where the general master bedroom boundaries would be to see how the size worked out. Probably wrong, but that's to be expected.

This view is looking from the North-East. Ensuite/walk in robe is the smaller area on this side.

These pegs are worth more than the US dollar. Do you know the USD is backed by nothing ever since Richard Nixon depegged the dollar from gold in 1971. Right now emerging markets are making massive changes world wide. I'm reminding people to be prepared. Too much debt, poor missmanagement from previous govts. The transition isnt going to be easy for many of us.

Murqab bus stop, the pegion feeding frenzy, wonder how many of these birds have bird flu

Not sure what the story was behind this picture-board, but it was cool (even if the box of foam pegs did end up a bit of a mess).

When I was driving to work this morning I came upon a scene that saddened me. Along my path there is a lovely old 1 and 1/2 storey house built in the saltbox style. According to the paperwork at the museum, this house was built sometime before 1819. Based on the style of the building, I would say it is closer to 1800 or earlier. For many years this house has sat unused. It is a building with great style and solid timber frame construction, but it was gutted and vacant.

When I turned the corner and saw the house I could immediately tell that someone was in the process of dismantling it. As someone who works to preserve heritage, this is always a saddening moment. Especially when the house is being demolished and I know that there are are people who would gladly purchase and reuse the frame. I immediately changed my morning plans and went to the house to try to get some documentary images. This image shows one of the pegged mortise and tenon joints in the front corner.
