I often glance at this place when passing in my ambulance or on the motorbike around this time of year, Today I stopped as some flowers had appeared and so I paused to remember and to pay my respects at this spot where I attended a serious motorcycle crash some years ago, the poor chap 'arrested' on us at the scene, we got him back but he died at the hospital, his injuries were to serious for him to survive.. His family as a lovely gesture invited us to the funeral as they knew we were bikers too.. It was amazing to see the literally hundreds of bikes and bikers turn out for the long parade to the crem..!
It turned out the guy was quite famous in the are of air-brush art and had an interesting history in the Hell's Angels..
