St Oswalds Bay between Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door ... Portland in the distance, as well as White Nothe
There was a sense of mystery to this strange locked shelter on Brighton seafront harbouring two middle-aged men. Kind of reminded me of an animal enclosure at a zoo!! Quite bizarre ;-)))
Grinding to a halt at Evesham Station is 47549 with it's number plus shed code 'YK' displayed on the front. The train was the 11.46 Worcester - Paddington service, taken on September 11th 1981. The picture was a little hurried, I had taken the black and white "proper picture" but had forgotten that at Evesham the loco pulls forward and stops under the bridge, careful cropping and a bit of photoshoppery has removed the badly out of focus bridge from the botton of the shot!
