New pattern for my downloadable patterns collection in my webshop.

This is my Blocked fabric design in charcoal gray, bright pink, lime green and white. It's available at Spoonflower:

In case you're wondering what size the pattern is, the distance between the lime green striped lines is about 8 cm or 3"

Did an outing @ Magic Wings conservatory with our camera club and came back with lots of Butt pics. This is a closeup of a Rice Paper Butterfly wing. Would make a great stained glass pattern

The pilot Barrier Beautification project of NYCDOT’s Urban Art Program was implemented on 1900 feet of concrete barriers in a series of geometric, undulating, layered waves designed by Pedro Delgado, an illustrator at the Grey Group World Wide and implemented with volunteers from the organizations.

Found this pattern outside a leisure centre near me. Original print is lovely, but it hasn't scanned so well.

Fungus Patterns I found wandering in the woods. The sun came out and so did I.....back to the fields :)

As promised months ago, here is my pattern for a miniature knitted pencil dress, designed for both Petite Blythe dolls, Dollcenas and Little Pullips.

The pink mini pencil dress, worn by the Little Pullip doll required less than 2 grams of yarn.

My free pattern is available on the blog: makedoandmendnovice.blogspot.com/2018/04/knitted-pencil-m...

This batch of 21 Enviro 400 double deckers are painted green to highlight their "hybrid" engines.

Originally intended for service 52 to Crookes, they have instead been put on service 120 (the 52 remains a single decker route).

I made this on the weekend, when it was gloomy weather... but now it's bright and sunny again! It's Sailor Moon-esque.

Today's series is all about patterns we find them everywhere and I find them very interesting, pleasing, calming and stimulating. They are a very visual and important part of our lives and can be found in nature as well as things made by mankind. We are surrounded by them and often are unaware of them as such.
