Pattern Is Movement opened for St. Vincent. Watching them is like watching Wagner if Wagner also rocked.
These drawings were done on fabriano dotted grid paper. I used to dots to help form the shapes without the use of a ruler or other tools
Found this pattern outside a leisure centre near me. Original print is lovely, but it hasn't scanned so well.
Fungus Patterns I found wandering in the woods. The sun came out and so did I.....back to the fields :)

This dragon is made from an updated version of my 'fierce but friendly really' dragon pattern. I've made a few minor changes, in particular the wings are stiffer now, and I've written it out in a longer form that should be easier to follow.

Love this pattern! Thank you Jenny! Made this in a size small but I think I'll go up a size for next time as it's a little tight in the bust and underarms. I was right on the edge of the measurements for the small so should have known. Inspired by the other red plaid Tova shirts I've been seeing :)
...drawn especially for my sister-in-law Sue and my niece Kelly who visited here yesterday and "tickled my heart" with their enjoyment of my little Maruman sketchbook as we sat in the warm sun with Doug, Dan, Cole and Scott experiencing a glorious Arizona spring day. Love you!
"When angels visit us,
we do not hear the rustle of wings,
nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove;
but we know their presence
by the love they create in our hearts."
