Place tha corner as shown with both edges of the fabric lining up into the serger. Lower the foot and lower your needles.... by little gumnut

I then place the leg under the foot, and zigzag close to the end of the knot on the material... so it looks like so... by little gumnut
With a dry pressing cloth over your seam, press the seam flat all the way around the waist. by little gumnut
