I messed a little as you can see.. The needle I was using for the topstitching was not able to make the buttonholes and so it chewed my fabric with zigzag stitches and once I got the piled thread off it left a very visible flaw on the side.

My indispensible patternmaking tools, including Frech curves, dressmaker's awl, tracing whell, straight ruler and notch-marker. I wouldn't embark on a new pattern without them.

Modeling some surf shorts I made the pattern to and sewed up.

I purchased Design-it-Yourself-Clothes and quickly whipped up a few skirts. Then a month later I became pregnant with my second child and was disappointed that I would be back into my maternity clothes. Not long after I realized my error and started drafting again. I love this book!!! Thank you Cal Patch!!

Center front and back hem are 3 inches longer than the side to give a more of a shirt look.
