From the shelves of dusty wood type patterns waiting to be explored at Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum; Two Rivers, Wisconsin

The pattern has traditional elements of easter eggs painting - drawing woven into a complex ornament. This range of bright colors (red, yellow, black, white) in the painting of Easter eggs gives the usual and affordable natural dye - onion husk and some other natural additives. In the Slavic tradition the word "red" meant beautiful. It turned out in elegant, complex, sunny pattern that is suitable for clothing and decoration in the casual, folk and rustic style. 1977 Misses' Pull-On Pants

Simplicity E.S.P. Pattern #8185

Size: O (12 & 14 & 16) Miss

Misses' Pull-On Pants: There are three sizes in each E.S.P. pattern, so if you are between sizes, or different sizes at the waist and hips, you can adjust it right on the pattern piece. ... These pull-on pants are truly fashion basics. They're so easy to dress up or down with different tops, too-soft blousons, cowl neck tops and sweaters for casual wear; ruffled blouses, blazers, vests and soft, trimmed tunics for special times. Our pull-on pants are easy to sew, too, because there is no waistband application necessary... just a simple, foldover elastic waistline casing.

This pattern is cut but contains all pieces.

easiest pattern ever:

1) cast on 30 stitches

2) knit until the bottom of your big toe's nail

3) knit together last two rows

cut the yarn, leaving a nice long tail

4) thread the yarn through the remaining loops (i did this using pointy tweezers, leaving the yarn on the needle)

5) sew up the toe (for best results, do this while the slipper is on your foot)

6) sew straight up the back

7) for the strap, cast on 6 stitches

8) stockinette until you reach the desired length

9) sew on strap

10) add buttons to the strap or in the middle of the toe area. i will probably add some to the strap.

note: add puffy paint to the bottoms to make the grip slippery floors better, and/or add a sole of some sort for added durability.

i'll finish the second one later.

Addison is a sweet, classic, vintage-inspired dress with lots of heirloom details... perfect for a family portrait, a wedding or a school event. It features a three-button closure on the bodice, sweet bubble-style sleeves and a long sash that ties into a pretty bow in the back. A set of tabs at the front gives the overskirt a scalloped look and lets the underskirt peek out ever so slightly.

I'm working on a line of skirt patterns. There are 2 more skirts not pictured here... a circle skirt and a bubble skirt! They will be out soon and are all variations of the same base pattern, just different length tiers and embellishments!
