In moleskine sketchbook, all done in markers. Blogged: caatjesartsystuff.blogspot.nl/2013/04/pattern-crazy.html
These are my favorite pajama pants. They're silk, and have this lovely Chinese-ish pattern on them. Even though I think they're from Anthropologie.
The red barricades/ metal bars are the patterns. Both Julia and Li Xuan are close friends. Both of the live in Tampiness so they come to school together. Both of them love watching Korean dramas and can spend hours talking about it to one another.

Pattern from Sirdar 376 book. Pattern is sizes from little girl to adult. Long or short sleeves. I made this from 5x 50 grams bals of cotton tape bought from Habiknit. The pattern is easy to follow but it is crocheted in pieces and then all sewn together.
I really enjoy the light here as well as the patterns. Taken at Cal Poly Leaning Pine Arboretum, San Luis Obispo, California.

Working on some patterns and textures to use as backgrounds and fillers in my screen prints. Made these with a Pigma Micron 0.1 pen and a fine Zebra brush pen
Leftover on our lanai screen from yesterday's storm that blew out power for about 30,000 households in Tallahassee. Our power was restored six hours later. This might also be the beginning of mildew or similar growth taking hold in a crowded field of what resembles bacterial colonies.

Pattern complete .. "Mama all you have todo it cut out the triangles and then sew, sew, sew & do it again, again, again .. And then its done" *finger clicks* "got it?? Got it?"
its a block by red pepper quilts, i am trying to work out the pattern .. and as you can see my very talented 6 year old has helped draw up the pattern.
pattern by Jenny Gordy of Wiksten-Made. found in Stitch magazine (holiday issue 2008) love it!
also, i was inspired by Jenny who was inspired by another seamstress (who was probably inspired by someone else) to make this in a printed fabric. i was so eager to get this made that i finished it up in one evening.
p.s. i also copied Jenny by wearing a v-neck knit top. but i also see it paired with some other tops i have (including another printed blouse i made...) oh so many possibilities. now i want to make another.
