Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated
An interesting antique purse that had a unique pattern on it that I thought would be worth posting for this week's Macro Monday challenge. It is made up of old shoe strings braided into a pattern.
Taken with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 3.5 on an extension tube, on a Canon SL1 camera.
This is a photo of pooled water and patterns in an outcrop of bedrock at Clam Harbour Beach. I can see a frame filling pareidolia face in this photo.
Today's Macro Mondays theme is Pareidolia—the tendency to perceive a meaningful image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern. I used a Pampered Chef Cut n Seal sandwich maker. Hopefully, I was able to show off the face that I saw on the underside of the tool. Finding faces on random things is something I tend to do regularly, so this was a fun challenge. HMM!
Very exciting for me since I had never written a pattern of any kind before. This particular one is entitled "Fairytale Mushroom Cottage" ~
this was the 6th of 7 pincushions to debut in Quilt Fabric Delights - Pincushion of the Month Club in Australia! Thanks Sarah for letting me be a part of this fun adventure!

I find leaves to be beautiful objects from nature with all kinds of patterns colors and textures. I photographed this beautiful specimen at the San Diego Botanic Building in Balboa Park, San Diego.
Other pictures that I've taken of leaves are in my Leaves album.
The walls of an old railway tunnel (now used by cyclists and pedestrians) reveal their patterns in a mix of light from overhead lamps and some daylight intrusion at one of the tunnel openings.

The sunlight at the end of the sofa created the lovely contrast of colours and patterns. I was able to enjoy the lovely sunshine inside as well as outside on our balcony. Sunshine makes everything seem better and brighter and always gives me such a lift!

The ice that formed on pond this morning developed interesting patterns especially on the right side of photo (zoom in)
Patterns in the cliffs at Mavillette Beach. The image has been cropped, and then mirrored and copied to be symmetrical. The detail is best seen full screen.
Thanks all for viewing, faving and commenting!! The pic made it to #21 (I think) in Explore!
