A lovely cooling pathway I recently discovered at Mt. Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. Out of the sunshine and into the shade.

No matter who we are or what we've done, we always leave a part of us behind.
That's what I wanted to convey in this image. A never ending dress, filled with a difference of colors, dragging behind as we move forward into the unknown. The colors being personalities, actions, thoughts - each a part of us.
This dress is actually individual pieces of fabric! We used a rope to secure on top then I added all the flowy parts separately. When i was little my dad made our basement ceiling like a rainbow with these pieces and he recently took it down. So I stole it. I used the red here too. ^_^
This is one of my bestest Friends Jenni! I love her to death and we are so similar and close it's ridiculous. She was amazing and even put on this huge fabric dress thing I made which made her look like a marshmallow. Teheheh <3
I just made an announcement about print sells/ donations on my FB page. You'd have to read it to understand. I love it if you did c:
If you think of a title for this let me know cause I'm stumped.
Going to baby sit now. WAHoooooo.. Hope you enjoy!
I parked by the Coastguard Station and excitedly grabbed my camera gear and strided out towards the small stone building on top of the headland hill. What a stunning view as I stood next to St Michaels Chapel looking northwards to Whitsand Bay.
It's been several years since I saw the striking panorama of Rame Head that just blew me away. I longed to attempt my version.
I had the image engrained in my head so ,looking at the chapel and the path then the chapel again and the path, I'm wondering how on earth did this photographer create the image!
The sun was dropping while I had a few practice runs at photos that were going to be merged/stitched together at home. I still wasn't sure whether it was possible to join them cleanly in Photoshop.
So, here's the resulting panorama with the wonderfully warm evening light shining across the sea, along the cliffs and onto the stone-built chapel.
I would like to mention Paul Morgan of Blurredvisionz who had the extraordinary vision and skills to create this composition originally. I continue to be inspired.

Some candid eye contact in this shot from Glasgow, Scotland. My goal, however, was simply to capture some well placed characters within those gorgeous lines of reflected light and shadow. With the low winter sun and the city windows it made for a striking visual treat.
