One section is pretty much finished on this. I thought I'd zip right through it when I first started this but my mental stamina isn't what it should be because of current life events. I am pleased that I keep going back to it when I can and continuing, even if it's just for 10 minutes.

Last night after I shared the photo of it, I went back to it for a bit and again this morning. I am not sure I'm finished for the day but the batteries I have for my camera are shot so I will take more pics when I can get more.

Pathways through out lives borne out through lines in a hand.

I've never been a believer in reading palms and the lines therein, but it does make an interesting subject for some black and white work.

Not far after the bridge, the flood waters remain on the pathway in parts, while the rest is very muddy indeed...

One of the few things that seems to be close to winter during this winter.

At the same times, the pictures feels a little more like autumn.

I guess it’s down to the type of trees.

I do like that the area mostly seems empty.

This pathway was in the Old Port area but there were no businesses along here. There were benches that were being used for reading. There was only one that had a person sleeping on it. I saw far fewer people in Montreal on cell phones than I do in the US.

The existing pathway was partially broken concrete and partially a poured slab. The concrete pieces were set directly into the clay soil, making a muddy mess when walked upon. The plantings near the house were uninspiring.
