The Pumpkin Patch is located on Sauvie's Island just 15 minutes northwest of Portland, OR. From Portland, take Highway 30 west towards Scappoose to the Sauvie Island bridge. After crossing the bridge, circle to the left and loop back under the bridge, following Gillihan Road to the farm. Head straight 2 miles until you see our signs.

Market and U-pick: 9 AM - 6 PM, June through October.

Pumpkin Cottage Giftshop: 10am - 6pm.

Patio Cafe: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 10am - 6pm.

I got the pattern from Diana McClun and Laura Nownes' book titled "Q is for Quilt". The pattern called for a fence rail border which I did not make. Instead I used a floral border. The nine-patch block uses 3 fabrics which is a variation of the traditional 2 fabric block. I think it gives the quilt a slightly complicated look. This quilt was my birthday gift to my niece.
