My NEW linen pants got a hole in them. I used a scrap of nearly matching linen and some Heat-n-Bond Lite to make a patch. Then I embroidered the blanket stitch using size 8 perle cotton.
I love my garden. Veg patch, bit weedy in parts but full of deliciousness. Potatoes, strawberries, spinach, silverbeet, onions, parsley, celery, lettuce (3 kinds), garlic, artichokes, rhubarb, an abundance of broadbeans, dill, coriander, asparagus (gone to seed up the back). Other beds have tomatoes, corn and heirloom broad beans. Up next, more toms, pumpkin, basil and zucchini. Love!

The twentieth patch on the jacket depicts Ken Tarleton or as most people know him The Elvis Trooper. This patch was acquired from Ken himself, I swapped him a Star Wars Action News Star Wars Celebration CVI badge for it at some point during the convention in Orlando last year. The patch has been sewn on the upper part of the left arm of the jacket and celebrates 10 years of Ken being the king of the troopers.
Well-worn canvas on sheepcamp. These wagons are, in some cases, genuine antiques. They've been patched an' repaired but some still have running gear and boxes that are around 100 yrs. old.
I used to be a raft Guide. I hit some rocks one time, so I patched my swimming trunks. It was beautiful.
The tenth patch on the jacket was produced by www.slimymudhole.com and given away at Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando, Florida in August 2012. It features a worse for wear green Jedi master doing what I'll be doing plenty of at Star Wars Celebration Europe II ... downing a frothy beer! It's in the middle left hand section of the main panel of the back of the jacket.
