Today was stupid rainy and sticky out. I had scheduled a paste paper demonstration, and went ahead with it, and we made paste papers alllll afternoon. It was the perfect activity for a rainy day! I can't wait to see some of these on books - there's some great stuff.
Mr. Bun got a canoe to take us across the little river to see and smell a fish paste factory. These ladies has great command of that knife to cut the mountain of fish up. Eventually the fish is put in big ceramic containers and fermented or rotted to make the paste. Some people would loose their lunch if they came here!
