When I first got the original Rochelle in early summer I was going to use her for a photo story set to 'Lies' by Marina & the Diamonds with her desolate despair at the happiness of her crush & his girlfriend. Confession time - at the time I had nothing short of a incessant hatred towards her. I think it was a reaction to my love for Cleo combined with what I'd anticipated the writers possibly pairing Deuce & Rochelle off. It was silly but it tainted her for me. So much so that I sold, re-bought & resold her doll. In between that I took this picture, using my 2nd Rochelle, and was able to pull focus from Cleo & Deuce's tender moment so that it was blurry & you could clearly see Rochelle. There's a companion to this with Cleo & Deuce in focus and they would've been uploaded as one image in the original plan. Anyway, my hate for Rochelle kept me from truly appreciate her and while she still isn't my favorite I don't hate her anymore & even like both her webisode and her doll for Scaris (second favorite after Clawdeen, actually) so while this fic won't ever come to pass I will at least be able to buy and enjoy both of her dolls now ;3
