New and improved texture experiments using polymer clay, antiquing with acrylics and guilders paste. They have internal wires to use as connection points for stringing.

This huge wheat paste mural appeared at the intersection of Bowery and Houston recently and I ran into it last night. Easily the largest wheat paste art I've ever seen. Apparently, the artist is JR, as I found out here: www.woostercollective.com/2008/09/jr_goes_big_in_new_york...

In the days when I used to use it, as well as the blinds displaying the non-stop section, a laminated notice was put up in the driver's door. And some drivers would announce it at every stop. Even then, about halfway down Brixton Road you'd hear the bell ring..
